The fee will be deducted from the cost of any pictures ordered. Admission Admission into the Miss Buggy Days Beauty Pageant is $5.00 per person. Children ages 5 and under are free. One parent will receive free admission with each contestant. There will be ample parking. Sponsors You may have someone sponsor your entry fee into the Beauty Pageant. This could be family or people you or your parents do business with, such as insurance agents, restaurants, auto repair shops, banks, etc. Sponsor fees are tax deductible as an advertising expense for a business. When contestants are introduced by the Master of Ceremonies (MC), the sponsor will be announced while the contestant is on stage. This is great advertising for local businesses. Rules & Regulations Deadline for applications and fees is September 7, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Chamber Office. No entries will be accepted at the door! Contest winners from last year cannot compete in the same pageant category. Applicants must be naturally born females. Applicants in the Miss Buggy Days division cannot be married, divorced, have had a marriage annulled, be pregnant, or a parent. If a young lady in the Miss Buggy Days category is a parent or married, she must move up to the Diamond Miss Buggy Days category. Each contestant 0-6 years of age may be accompanied on stage by one parent, if necessary. Escorts should wear dark pants (no jeans or shorts) and a white top. Contestant entrance at the Fine Arts Center will be on the right side of the building. Only one attendant with participant allowed for ages 7 and up in the backstage area. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING!!!

3 Awards A Queen and 2 finalists will be chosen in each division. Each will receive a trophy. 1st Place winners in all categories will receive a stunning crown and ribbon and will be invited to ride in the Buggy Days Parade on Saturday, September 17, st Place winners in categories from 0 months to 16 years and from 22 years to 50+ years will receive a $25 cash prize. The Miss Buggy Days winner will receive a $150 cash prize. One Best Dressed winner will be chosen in each age division and will receive a trophy. One Most Photogenic winner will be chosen in each age division and will receive a trophy. Photos can be black and white or color. Photo is due with application and only one photo may be entered. Photos will not be returned. There will be one winner, overall, for selling the most Best Wishes tickets. The winner will receive a trophy and will be invited to ride in the Buggy Days Parade on Saturday, September 17, There will be one, overall, People s Choice winner. The winner will receive a trophy and will be invited to ride in the Buggy Days Parade on Saturday, September 17, All non-finalists will receive a flower in recognition of their participation. Wardrobe 0-6 Years: Sunday, Party, or Pageant Dress. *Tip- Lacy socks and shoes look better than tights on the under 6 year old girls. Light makeup preferred by judges Years: Long or Short Party or Pageant Dress 13 Years and Up: Long Prom or Pageant Dress Years: Will also need Business Attire for onstage interviews in addition to long prom or pageant dress. Escorts: Dark pants (no jeans or shorts) and a white top. Best Wishes Tickets Best Wishes Tickets are another way for you to have someone else help pay your fees for you! We will hold a drawing at the pageant for $ Cash Prize sponsored by Mitch s Automotive & Towing. Anyone buying a Best Wishes Ticket will be eligible to win! You must turn in $1 for each ticket that you sell. The contestant selling the most tickets will receive a trophy and entry into the Buggy Days Parade. Please turn in all tickets, already cut up, into the Chamber by the deadline of September 7, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. You will find a sheet of Best Wishes Tickets attached to the back of this application. Stage Set-Up If you find it necessary, there will be a Drop-In Dress Rehearsal on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center.
