2 KSA has yet again the great pleasure of inviting you to an international swimming competition in Kristiansand, in our new venue Aquarama. (Information of Aquarama below). Skagerrak Swim is for the first time on the international schedule of LEN.The event is held for the 29th time, and during these years we have had visitors from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and of course from all over Norway. The event is held in Kristiansand, southern Norway s capital, well-connected by air, boat, train, car and bus. The event is organized by the Norwegian Swimming Federation rules and regulations. The pool is 50 meters long, has 10 lanes, and a temperature of 27 degrees. The qualification period for the event is from 16th January 2013 to 15th January For anyone who has registered times in the qualification period, the best time from this period is used. If you have not been swimming an event in the period allowed, the use of a stipulated time is allowed (cf. GE22A6). Dinner Friday: Meat burgers with potatoes and vegetables Lunch Saturday: Lasagne with salad, bread and dressing Dinner Saturday: Mexican buffet Lunch Sunday: Pasta and chicken meatballs with salad, bread and dressing.

4 Lunch and dinner are buffet so swimmers can eat as much as they please. We will serve nutritious and good food as well as keep meal times flexible so that every athlete can adjust their mealtime to their swimming schedule. To order accommodations, use within 15th December We have booked both hotels, and first come first served principle applies. START OF COMPETITION Friday 17.00PM Saturday: 1st session: 9:00AM 2nd session: app PM Sunday: 1st session: 9:00AM 2nd session: app PM SCHEDULE Time schedule will be published and followed through the meet. This gives swimmers and coaches the opportunity to plan the day at the best way. PRIZES The 3 best clubs in total will be awarded cash prizes 1st place NOK , - 2nd place NOK 6.000, - 3rd place NOK 3.000, - Best club is calculated according to the following table: 7,5,4,3,2,1 in every age group class (finals are not included). Double score for relay teams. Cash prize for the top two swimmers in each event regardless of age group 1st prize NOK 700, - 2nd prize NOK 300, - Relay prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place only. Prizes for highest score according to FINA2013-pointtable. Best male swimmer: NOK 10,000 Best female swimmer: NOK 10,000

5 HEATS Heats will be set up according to entry time, regardless of age. Late entries are accepted in teamleader meeting in available heats, double entry fees will be demanded for late entries and must be paid in cash at the meet office. We reserve the right to limit participation in some events and if necessary alter start time Saturday and Sunday. SUPERFINALS 50 FREESTYLE, 50 BREAST- STROKE, 50 BACKSTROKE AND 50 BUTTERFLY The finals are for the 10 fastest swimmers in the following classes: Senior, Boys 95/96, Boys 98/97, Boys 99/00/01 Senior, Girls 95/96, Girls 98/97, Girls 99/00/01 WARMUP PERIODS Friday 24th January 1:30PM. to 4:45PM. Saturday 25th January 7:00AM to 8:45AM Sunday 26th January 7:00AM to 8:45AM In addition, there is a cool down pool which will be open during the meet.
