4 Page 4 ArborSoftWorx Standard Features Inventory Document Inventory items including: Define the inventory item using botanical and common names, shape, and type with the assistance of drop down selections from the included editable Woody Plants database. Locate the inventory item using a variety of references including: GPS, street, zone, block, reference landmarks. Detail the Attributes including: diameter, height, grow space type and size, ground cover, utilities, appraisal values, and others. Specify Conditions including: trunk, crown and foliage, roots, risks, hazards, and others. Include multiple Photographs and Images with each inventory item for work orders, identification and history, or, include in correspondence to residents/property owners. Record unlimited text comments for each inventory item. Identify resident/property owner(s) for appropriate communications. Current conditions and observations are automatically updated from the most recent Survey/Inspection and Maintenance records. Survey/Inspection Management Record observations by staff, consultants and volunteers, and track Survey/Inspections. Designate whether the inspection is in response to a Resident/Owner call, a Normal routine inspection, or other reason. Enter results of Survey/Inspections such as overall growth conditions, defects such as girdling roots, potential failure and risk ratings, pests and diseases. Enter recommended remedies (services/ maintenance needs) for use in the generation of crew Work Orders. Maintain a history of multiple Survey/Inspection records per inventory item.

5 ArborSoftWorx Page 5 Standard Features Service Maintenance Records, Work Orders Create comprehensive work orders for crews, then track and schedule the work based on selection criteria such as: Date, Territory-Zone and Service, or by Crew and Service, or other selections. Pending and completed work are tagged to each individual inventory item enabling you to maintain accurate records on each item. Perform job costing for departmental charge-backs and budgeting. Manage work pending and work completed. Generate comprehensive work outstanding reports based on service, schedule dates, crew, equipment, materials, and other selections. This is essential for Maintenance type work such as Plant Health Care as it ensures that a particular seasonal application is complete. At-a-glance calendars allow for easy drag-and-drop scheduling with color-coded Territories-Zones. Keep track of calls and tasks with the Call/Task feature. Resident Calls are also easily entered and maintained. Identify Residents (with full address and contact information) associated with Inventory items, and maintain accurate records on Resident Calls and follow-up actions.

For example, you can perform a search for all inventory items of a particular type, with a specified hazard rating to identify future work, or, perform searches to identify the various species in your Urban Forest. Multi-User Network incorporates advanced quick response multi-user networking technologies for data access and control. Multiple branch office locations may also be configured and connected. Hosting Services Your ArborSoftWorx can be hosted on our state-of-the-art servers located on the East and West coasts. We also provide hosted Exchange for and hosted backup solutions. Simply use a high speed internet connection through our secure web portal to access your system and database. Single and multi-user hosting is available. System Requirements: Operating Systems ArborSoftWorx is supported on all current Professional/Business Class Windows Operating Systems, Linux and current Windows Server Operating Systems. The Microsoft Office Suite is not required. The Windows Basic or Home editions of the operating system, AMD or Celeron processors are not recommended. The Microsoft Corporation does not support the Windows Home nor Basic, editions in a business network environment. System Requirements: Single User ArborSoftWorx boasts a small footprint. Current business class equipment capable of supporting the current Professional/Business class Windows Operating systems are sufficient. 18 Page 18 ArborSoftWorx A History of Our Software In the late 1980 s, a local full service tree and landscape company asked us to investigate the available arbor industry software to replace their third failed "Arbor" software package. After examining several software products and not finding a suitable solution, ArborSoftWorx Commercial (formerly known as ArborWare) was born and continues to grow through the partnership of active Arborists, our customers, industry standards, and, our own computer experts.
