4 National Transport Policy Objectives The overall transport policy objective is to ensure economically efficient and sustainable transport services for citizens and businesses throughout the country Transport policy functional objective: Accessibility Transport policy deferential objectives: Safety, Environment and Health

5 Regional Strategy for Planning Process One of three overall objectives for the transport system is to offer an accessibility that actively contributes to sustainable development socially, environmentally and economically. This perspective is strongly connected to the climate challenge

14 Objectives Improve traffic flow to and from Kista Science City through optimization of traffic and thus - increase availability - reduce travel times - increase convenience - reduce CO2 emissions Increase the attractiveness and ability to create new export success through greater cooperation between stakeholders in Kista Science City

Give vehicles access The responsibility is divided between actors The planning is divided into disciplinary sectors Investigate the users needs of accessibility Give access to people, goods and information It is a responsibility to collaborate The planning should handle the reality as a whole Combining Infrastructure and Land Use Planning
