1 DAI Power Modle E-2DA-D DAI Fixtre Controller DAI Power Modle b The DAI Power Modle is a DI-rail monted controller for DAI -compliant Digital Addressable loads. It provides DAI bs power and control for two independent DAI bses with p to 64 ballasts each. DAI 1 DAI 2 EC IEC PEV EC Featres Provides power for two bses of DAI compliant digital addressable loads (p to 250 ma per bs). Each DAI Bs can control a maximm of 16 zones. Power failre memory retains programming in the event of a power loss. DAI Power Modle can be sed in a HomeWorks system to control and manage light in an entire home or bilding. Programming and Compatibility Reqirements The E-2DA-D can only be sed with the HomeWorks system. Setp and programming of the DAI Power Modle is done throgh the HomeWorks programming software. DAI Bses Up to 64 DAI compliant loads on each bs can be addressed and groped into 16 zones. DAI Power Modle spplies 250 ma to power each bs. DAI Bs wires are polarity insensitive and topology-free. ink imits A link in a HomeWorks system can have p to 512 zones (otpts) and 100 devices. A ballast or driver conts as 1 zone nless specifically groped into zones from the HomeWorks software. Each DAI Power Modle conts as one device toward the 100 device limit. A maximm of 8 flly loaded DAI Bses may be connected to a single link. HomeWorksR Wallstations HomeWorks wallstations can be configred to control DAI Power Modles with the HomeWorks programming tility. ED indicator displays the stats of programmed lights. Trobleshooting and Maintenance Featres Maintains redndant memory of ballast programming for ease of single or mltiple ballast replacement. To verify DAI lights connected to DAI bs 1 and bs 2: Enter Mode: Press and hold btton on the DAI Power Modle ntil the ED starts flashing. : Each press of either the DAI 1 or DAI 2 btton will cycle the lights between high-end, low-end, flash and off for that bs. Emergency ighting Applications Use normal (non-essential) power only to power the DAI 65/75 Power ºC C Modle. Al 0,5 m (5 in-lbs) When normal power drops ot, the DAI Power Modle will not power the DAI Bses. When this occrs, ballasts powered from emergency feeds go to their emergency mode, fll light otpt by defalt. Mains Wiring and IEC PEV / EC Separation The DAI Power Modle is designed to separate mains wiring from IEC PEV / EC circits. Follow appropriate local and national codes to avoid violating reqired separation gidelines.
