With a bilt-in web server for browser-based video management, the 400 Series is a flly integrated, stand-alone video soltion that's ready to go, straight ot of the box. The 400 Series featres a highly reliable embedded design that minimizes maintenance and operational costs. The nit has for adio inpts and a DVD writer. System overview The Bosch 400 Series takes advantage of the latest H. 264 compression technology that allows for more efficient video compression. This redces the amont of storage and bandwidth needed while also prodcing better image qality. The 400 Series records mltiple video and adio signals while simltaneosly providing live mlti-screen viewing and playback. Comprehensive search and playback fnctions provide qick recall and viewing of recorded video. Recording Ease of se is key to the 400 Series design. Simply connect the cameras, apply power, and the nit begins recording atomatically. All recording takes place in the backgrond with no operator intervention reqired. The se of H.264 compression redces the file size of recordings by as mch as 30% compared to standard MPEG-4, withot sacrificing image qality. The Bosch Video Recorder 400 Series can record at p to 25 (PAL) / 30 (NTSC) images per second, per channel at resoltion. Recording at 2 and 4 resoltion is also possible by redcing the recording image rate settings. The recording rate and qality are individally configrable per channel for maximm flexibility. If reqired, alarm recordings (inpt and motion) and continos recordings can be split over two partitions. An overwrite mode can then be selected separately for each partition. Dome Control The 400 Series can control pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) eqipment via RS 232 and RS 485 serial commnications. PTZ devices, inclding the Bosch AtoDome Modlar and AtoDome Easy II, are spported.

2 Alarms The nit has extensive alarm handling fnctions and telemetry control. Alarm fnctions inclde motion detection in ser-definable areas of the image on any camera inpt. Local control and operation The nit can be easily operated and programmed via the on-screen display men system sing either the front panel control keys, the mose, or the remote control. Two monitor otpts provide fll-screen, qad (main monitor only), and seqenced viewing. Looping ato-terminating video inpts and otpts, adio inpts and otpt, and alarm inpts and otpts are located on the rear panel. The VGA connector provides an otpt for monitor A (main monitor). A CVBS video otpt is also provided for monitor B (spot monitor). Monitor A displays live and playback in fll-screen or qad digital pictres that can be frozen and zoomed. Monitor B displays live fll-screen pictres. IN IN 2 Video Recorder 430/451 Series Remote control and operation Use the Control Center PC software or bilt-in web application via a network for live viewing, playback, and configration. The Control Center can also be sed with other Bosch prodcts inclding the 600 Series and the 700 Series. For sers can control the 400 Series simltaneosly. The Bosch 400 Series incldes an athenticity check for both local and remote playback, ensring recording integrity. The Bosch 400 Series Archive Player is provided for playback of secre video files. Mobile Devices Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) is spported in the 400 Series. This means that live video streamed from the nit over the internet can be displayed by sitably configred mobile devices.
