2 What is Films On Demand Films On Demand is our Web-based digital video delivery service that allows you to view streaming videos from Films Media Group. Choose from thousands of high-quality educational titles in dozens of subject areas.

3 How it works? Personalize your experience Create an Account. Your account would allow for personal playlist, assignments, editing options on videos, and much more. Account Settings. This is where a user goes to change settings and set up guideines for your account. You do not have to make any of these changes unless you need to. Create a Group. Set up your Films on Demand classroom. Creating a group will allow each of your students to find the information and assignments in a efficient fashion.

4 Making Your Account Why? You do not need an account to look up content on Films On Demand. Creating an account will personalize the database of videos and allow you to save content into groups, playlist, and bookmarks. How? 1. Select Films On Demand link located on the Libraries Database page. 2. Select the My Films tab in the header. 3. A pull down menu will appear and select Create an Account link will be an the bottom. 4. Now you can create your own account. This will allow for you to have a personalized experience by opening My Films and My Preferences

5 My Films - Dashboard The My Films section is your personalized dashboard. This is the place to access your saved content, groups, and assignments. Access My Films My Films can be found in two locations by the menu and under the profile icon on the top right of the header.

8 What can you do with Films On Demand? Films On Demand can be described as a educational YouTube. 1 Search using keywords or Browse to find videos. 2 Make a Playlist or Bookmark content for the future. 3 Create a Group for classroom use. 4 Use the Group for classroom or online assignments. As a teacher you can create assignments for the groups to complete. 5 Embed content from Films on Demand into your Canvas classrooms.

11 Playlist After Searching for videos add them to your playlist. 1. Select the add to tab under the video. 2.You can choose to put it in a folder in Favorites or Add to Playlist. 3. Choose what part of the video to save and select a playlist. You can create a playlist here too.

13 How to create a Group This is a great tool for classroom assignments. Create a group for each class and have students join. All they need to have access to the class is to have the class code. 1. Login to Films On Demand and select My Films. You can do this my clicking on the menu button or the user profile button on the top of the page. 2. On the My Films page select Create a Group or My Groups. This will lead to a pop up box asking for group name, a description, and how you want the group visible.

14 My Groups This is what you My Groups Page will look like. You can manage each group or add more in this location.

15 Canvas To Embed in Canvas 1.Click on the blue "v" in the rich content editor. 2. Select Films On Demand and search for your video. Sharing Group and Assignment Information Each group and assignment created has a share feature. Select share and a code will be given. The student can follow click on the code and the information will be available.

16 Assignments My Films has two locations to access assignments. Once an assignment as been created use the My Tools to manage them. Under My Tools select My Assignments and you will see options to create and organize.

17 Assignments Select Create New and fill out the information in the pop up box.
