4 Introduction of of TÜV Rheinland Malaysia: 2000 TUEV Pfalz Asia is formed and set up a wheel Year Sunway Technology Park testing laboratory in Sunway Technology Park to serve the Asia Pacific wheel manufacturers TPA Consultancy is changed to TUEV Pfalz Certification to provide audit and certification services. TUEV Pfalz in Germany merged with TUEV Rheinland Group TUEV Pfalz Asia and TUEV Pfalz Certification shifted to new office and laboratory in the new Subang Jaya USJ1 Industrial Park TUEV Pfalz Asia and TUEV Pfalz Certification have been closed and the new Company TUV Rheinland Malaysia Sdn. CB Scheme The CB Scheme is based on the principle of mutual recognition by means of certification through the use of internationally accepted standards. By virtually eliminating duplicated testing, the CB Scheme facilitates the international exchange and acceptance of product safety results among participating laboratories, otherwise known as National Certification Bodies (NCBs). 10

45 Quality assurance for certified products: According to the ISO Guide 65 there is a requirement for annual factory Inspections for all kind of products. Factory Inspections shall ensure that certified products will all time get manufactured in the approved status, thus the complete manufacturing process including incoming inspections, outgoing Inspections and other supporting processes get checked from the certifying body once per year at a minimum. 45

46 TUV Rheinland Malaysia Sdn Bhd & Photovoltaic: We are currently not intending to install and operate an own PV Laboratory due to the low market volume in Malaysia and the whole of SEA. However, for potential clients we will act as the Agent and work closely together with our Group Laboratories. 46
