4 WHAT S IT LIKE TO CELEBRATE ON THE WATER? 1 1ONE GATHER YOUR CREW Make sure everyone in your group receives their ticket before boarding. From there, we ll be glad to seat you all together in your reserved space. BOARDING 2TWO Before boarding time, you can pick up your tickets at the booth near the boat. As you board, your group will have a chance to take a professional photo together. The prints will be available for purchase later in the cruise or at the end. Just like a restaurant, a hostess will greet you and take you to your table. DINING 3THREE Settle in, meet your manager or server, and get ready to set sail. Your server will invite you up to the buffet (which is all you can eat), take your drink order, and check back with you throughout the cruise. Let them know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. ENJOY THE VIEWS 4FOUR No need to stay stuck in your seat. Feel free to explore the ship at any time especially the rooftop lounges and outdoor spaces. Sip on a cocktail while relaxing on the outdoor deck, challenge your crew to a game of shuffle board, or snap a photo with the city s skyline as your backdrop. Lounge spaces are also available on the 1st and 2nd decks. DANCE AWAY 5FIVE Typically there s a DJ on each deck. Feel free to submit your song requests, and keep an ear open for the specialty dances. SOMETHING SWEET 6SIX Finish off your cruise with a delicious dessert. Those celebrating with us are often treated to something extra sweet. 8 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT S TYPICALLY INCLUDED FOR MY EVENT? A buffet-style menu with multiple courses. DJ Entertainment. Coffee, tea and iced tea. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Business Casual attire is appropriate on dinner cruises. For men, suggested attire includes slacks and a polo or button down shirt (no tank tops, please). For women, nice slacks, Capri pants or a sundress is recommended. We strongly discourage collarless T-shirts, jeans, shorts or athletic footwear. Brunch, lunch and other cruises are more relaxed and resort attire is fine. WHERE SHOULD I PARK? Spirit of Norfolk departs from Otter Berth, which is next adjacent to Townpoint Park in downtown Norfolk. There is convenient parking in the Waterside Garage, located one block from the ship. Parking is also available at the Town Point Garage, located at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Main Street. Visit norfolk.gov/parking for more information. HOW CAN I ELEVATE MY EVENT? Pre-purchase a private table Pre-purchase a bottle of champagne or a favorite wine to have waiting at your table. Upgrade your ticket with a bar package for each guest. Consider adding a food station or hors d oeuvres to amp-up your menu selection WHAT IF I WANT MORE PRIVACY OR CUSTOMIZATION? While your party will always be seated together in a reserved section, with a traditional ticket you ll be sharing your deck with other groups. Private spaces and decks are available to rent out at an additional cost. WHAT HAPPENS IN BAD WEATHER? Our fleet can cruise in rain, shine or snow all year round. Each deck is climate controlled, and the weather will not affect your cruise. In the case of severe weather, the ship may remain dockside for the length of the event.
