Some time to reflect on your life, make plans for the future or to just celebrate where you are? It s time to treat yourself to a week of life s guilty pleasures: fine Italian food, wine, music, art and culture; your very own Ferrari to tour the Chianti region and meaningful connections with people like you, but with a different story to share. The Villa d Este Hotels invite you to take a moment to breathe in life s joy and to experience Italian dolce vita at their Tuscan estate, Villa La Massa, for 5 unforgettable days. You only live once

2 DAY 1 Monday, October 7th Guests will arrive in Florence at their leisure. On the evening of October 7th, you will be hosted for a cocktail by the General Manager in the Bar Mediceo and enjoy the first of many truffle and fine wine dinners. An eclectic sommelier will take you inside the world of wines. Villa La Massa Trifolao The new Cantina Antinori Cantina Antinori DAY 2: Tuesday, October 8th You ll set out in the morning with a local trifolao and his trusted canine to understand why Italian truffles are coveted the world over. After a light lunch, you will be the guest of the new Cantina Antinori in San Casciano; the futuristic cellars were built by excavating a hill on the property to incorporate them into the landscape and to guarantee an ideal temperature of 17 C degrees. Following a private cellar tour, which will offer a fascinating look into the world of viticulture, you will take part in an unforgettable guided tasting of Antinori s acclaimed range of wines. In the evening, foodies will tick off another item on their bucket list with an exquisite gourmet dinner inside the Cantina Antinori, open for the occasion, with pairing of great wines such as Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Riserva and Tignanello.

3 DAY 3: Wednesday, October 9th Because there is little rest for the weary, on day three you will rise and understand why Italy has given the world so much beauty. You sampled the food, the wine and now you will rev your engine behind the wheel of one of our Ferraris (458 Spider, 458 Italia and California). Expert pilots will guide you through Chianti to your lunch date at biodinamical winery Podere Forte where you will meet the owners. They will walk you through the vineyards and share with you some details about this amazing estate. A gourmet lunch will be served at the Osteria Perillà, a Restaurant which features a refined post-modern design housed in a medieval building in the center of Rocca d'orcia, a "borgo" which is World Heritage Site. DAY 4: Thursday, October 10th On Thursday, after a morning of tranquility, you ll set off for the magnificent city of Lucca. With art historian and Florentine, Andrea Ghiottonelli as your guide, you ll be invited to slow your pace and enjoy this medieval city. You ll walk the serpentine streets and witness treasures of art and architecture that have stood the test of time. After dinner and cocktail, you will enjoy a special performance of Puccini and Mozart s arias at the Chiesa San Giovanni, where in 1864 Puccini was baptized and where the longest running festival celebrating his city and his music has taken place since. 4 DAY 5: Friday, October 11th DAY 5: Friday, October 11th There aren t many sights more inspiring than walking through a city. You ll start off with a private visit of Palazzo Corsini al Prato, owned by Prince Corsini. Received by the Family, quests will receive a private tour of the palace and its art collection accompanied by Andrea Ghiottonelli. A cocktail in the garden, one of the finest examples of Baroque landscaping, will follow. After the visit you will be guided through the heart of Florence among sacred and noble places, viewing the works of Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Da Vinci along the way. After lunch at the Cibreo Restaurant, you will be free until the evening's closing party: an inspiring truffle dinner at Villa La Massa, paired with Italy's top wines. For reservations, please contact the Hotel Villa La Massa at the above contact details. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance will be charged 10 days prior to arrival, and any cancellations thereafter will incur a 100% cancellation fee. An additional security deposit of EUR is required for use of the Ferraris. This amount will be pre-authorized on your credit card a few days prior to your arrival and refunded at the end of the program if damages are not incurred. The above rates include accomodation, everything specified in the program except for transportation from/to airport or train station, activities not mentioned in the detailed itinerary, meals not stated on official itinerary, additions or substitutions to meals, incidentals, tips, and gratuities. The organizer reserves the right to make substitutions to the itinerary with similar activities/venues as those described in the original official program, if necessary.
