Customer Relations From reservations staff, when you make your initial booking, through your journey with our drivers, hosts and hostesses, to your representatives at the resorts we are all committed to helping you enjoy your holiday. Local Pickups (Lookout for FREE Pick-Ups) Select your most appropriate pick-up point from the back page. Please note, a pick-up surcharge applies to certain pick-up points. We are trying to encourage customers to choose a pick-up that reduces the overall travelling time. Your Travel Route After all passengers have been picked up at local points we travel down to the port of embarkation (Dover or Folkestone) to catch the ferry/le Shuttle to Calais or Boulogne. During the ferry crossing of around 90 minutes there are many facilities to enjoy such as self-service restaurant, bar, lounge, duty-paid shops and currency exchange. On arrival in France we continue the journey on the main Autoroute through France, heading for Lyon and Perpignan. We travel through the night, making two stops of around 30 minutes to allow you to purchase food and freshen up. The first stop is in the evening and the second in the morning. There will also be occasional comfort stops en-route and we strongly recommend that you take advantage of these stops, if only to stretch your legs (time permitting). We cross the French/Spanish border at La Jonquera and arrive in the Costa Brava approximately two hours later. Travelling Times The coach journey to the Costa Brava/Costa Dorada takes approximately 24 hours from Dover, but of course during peak periods, the travelling time could be extended. 2 Booking Hotline:

3 Interchange It may be necessary for some passengers to change coaches on the outward journey at Farthing Corner and Emporda and on the inbound journey at Calella and Emporda. This is for the benefit of passengers to enable them to arrive in resort and return home as quickly as possible. Your Coach The coaches we use, whether a high-liner, semi-decker or double-decker, all have the same facilities on board, ie video entertainment system, forced-air ventilation, panoramic windows, reclining seats, toilets and coffee machines. Some services, such as videos, toilets, stereos, heaters, ventilation and drinks machines sometimes become inoperable. Rectification will however take place as quickly as possible. For your own and fellow passengers comfort we recommend that you use the chemical toilets installed on the coaches as little as possible and take advantage of facilities at the rest stops. Platinum Travel The 15 Platinum charge guarantees a seat on our Platinum Coaches. However, we may have to collect you from your pick-up point on a Standard Executive Coach and transfer you to meet your Platinum Coach at Dover/Folkstone. On your return journey you may be transferred onto a Standard Executive Coach at Dover/Folkstone for the remainder of your journey home. In Spain we may have to transfer you to or from your resort on an Executive feeder coach. In cases of emergency a substitute coach may not have one or more of the facilities available. No compensation is payable for the lack of any of the above facilities. Seating Seating on our coaches is arranged 2-5 days prior to your departure/return. NO requests can be made for any specific seating as we are finding it increasingly difficult with regards the volume of requests being made to our head office prior to departure/return. You will be advised, on boarding your coach, as to your seat numbers. We cannot advise you of the seat numbers prior to this. However if you inform us of any disabled passengers in your party we will endeavour to allocate two seats on the lower deck of our double-deck coaches, but can give NO guarantee. Please remember, as there are only 14 seats on the lower deck, if there are numerous bookings marked disabled it is impossible for us to allocate downstairs seating to all. Therefore, this may mean us having to split bookings up to allocate disabled passengers seats. If clients are booking on separate invoices we cannot guarantee that you will all travel together. Should a customer, for any reason, fail to embark on one of our coaches, Ferris Holidays reserves the right to reclaim that seat. This applies even if a refund has not been awarded. No Smoking on Coaches IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAWS BANNING SMOKING IN ENCLOSED PUBLIC PLACES APRIL 2, 2007 IN WALES, AND JULY 1, 2007 IN ENGLAND, SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON ANY FERRIS HOLIDAY COACH. Deep Vein Thrombosis We advise our customers to take advantage of the coach breaks to stretch their legs. Support stockings can be purchased at most chemists. More advice can be obtained from health centres. Refreshments Hot and cold drinks can be purchased from the host/hostess who will also endeavour to make your journey as pleasant as possible. In order to offer the service of on-board drinks, it must be appreciated that there is a limited supply of water available and therefore we are unable to supply hot water for flasks or personal drinks not purchased from the coach company. Parents should ensure their children's safety on the coaches by making sure they do not stand in the aisles or sit on the stairs especially when refreshments are being served. On Arrival On arrival there may not be a Representative to welcome you to your hotel/apartment and you may not be allowed into your room straight away. This is to allow for cleaning of all rooms and apartments. You may have to wait until 2.00pm in hotels and 5.00pm in apartments. As coaches cannot always drop you off outside your accommodation, a short walk may be necessary. Booking In Your coach will drop you and your luggage at your hotel/apartment, (access permitted). Please have your passport and holiday reservation ticket ready to book in. The receptionist will retain your passport for one day to extract necessary details. Your passport will be returned as soon as possible. Remember there will be a lot of people around when you book in: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LUGGAGE OR VALUABLES UNATTENDED, USE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES WHERE POSSIBLE! Allocation on Arrival When booking, Allocation on Arrival, the resorts and hotels will be allocated for you (unless otherwise advised). If on arrival in Spain you are not satisfied with the allocated accommodation upgrades can be arranged (subject to availability) upon payment of the difference between the offer price and alternative hotel brochure price. Accommodation Official Tourist Authority Classifications differ in each country to those in the UK, therefore the description used in our brochures and leaflets of hotel does not necessarily differentiate between aparthotel, hostel, pension, residencia, taverna etc. Topping & Tailing Small children may top and tail in some hotels but the accommodation will comprise of one twin-bedded room with extra bed(s) added (rooms may therefore be cramped). If two rooms are required then two of the children must each pay full adult price. Food PLEASE NOTE: NO HOT FOOD IS ALLOWED ON ANY FERRIS HOLIDAYS VEHICLES. Hotels cater for all nationalities and meals may not be to everyone's palate. In some cases, due to the climate, the food is served at a lower temperature, but we believe that it is still good value for money. Vegetarians are not catered for but a salad or omelette may be an alternative choice. Most of the comments we get back from our customers are about the food. Please remember, you are in a foreign country and although every effort is made, it is impossible to please everyone. CAUTION BE AWARE OF SPILLAGES! The hotel staff can only act on cleaning spilled food or drinks when notified. Please be aware of your surroundings throughout the hotel, especially restaurants, bars, etc. Early and Late Season Facilities Please note that at the beginning of the season (April/beginning of May) and end (end of September/October) not all facilities may be available at the hotels and apartments, for example pools may not be open, entertainment may be reduced or cancelled etc. This is reflected in the price at this time. When on Holiday Ferris Holidays cannot be held responsible for the conduct and behaviour of all holidaymakers within your resort and within the accommodations. Returning Home Please note that the rooms and apartments must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. This is to allow staff to prepare rooms for new arrivals. Please check with your Representative for your coach departure times, as this could vary. Departures from Spain are between 1200 hrs and 1800 hrs. It must be stressed that these are stand-by times and are a guide only. We know that the majority of passengers want to arrive home as quickly as possible. Therefore, on the return journey we endeavour to keep the number of breaks to a minimum. Please note that on the return journey after arriving at Dover/Folkestone our coaches will make service stops on the motorway to allow passengers to telephone friends or relatives to inform them of their approximate arrival time. 4 IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ CAREFULLY DISABLED PEOPLE Ferris Holidays Limited accepts disabled people on the understanding that they are booking under the same terms and conditions as able-bodied people. Since 2011 and going forward, our New Coaches are a mixture of Platinum and Standard seating. If you inform us of any disabled passengers in your party we will endeavour to allocate two seats on the lower deck of our doubledeck coaches, but can give NO guarantee. Please remember, as there are limited seats on the lower deck, if there are numerous bookings marked disabled it is impossible for us to allocate downstairs seating to all. Therefore, this may mean us having to split bookings up to allocate disabled passengers seats. If clients are booking on separate invoices we cannot guarantee that you will all travel together. No electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters can be transported, however they can be hired on the Costa Brava, please ask for details Regrettably, because of the inherent design and construction of our coaches, we cannot offer the facilities to cope with wheelchairs or special needs. For instance, there are a number of steps to board all coaches and further steps to the seating upstairs on double-deckers with toilet facilities on the lower deck. There are also no fixing points for wheelchairs or gangways wide enough between seats for wheeled access. It is also important to note that most hotels and apartments in Spain have steps and do not have wheelchair ramps and many are in elevated locations. Ferris Holidays Limited can therefore only advise disabled clients of the potential unsuitability of our coaches and hotels on offer. HAVING ADVISED CLIENTS, WE CAN ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY IF THE LOCATION, FACILITIES OR ACCOMMODATION DO NOT HAVE ACCESS/FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED. IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD THAT PROBLEMS DO EXIST AND OUR HOLIDAYS ARE THEREFORE UNSUITABLE FOR MANY DISABLED OR SPECIAL NEEDS PEOPLE. Following complaints from disappointed disabled clients we must respectfully point out that clients consider and understand these limitations. FREE & DISCOUNTED CHILDREN Children will only be allocated a separate room when paying full-fare prices. This means that any child or children with free or discounted places will share a twin bedded room with a minimum of two full-fare paying adults. RESORT, HOTEL & ROOMS ALLOCATION If more than one family/party are booking together it cannot be guaranteed that rooms, apartments or hotels will be together or that they will be in the same resort (when booking Ferris Chooses Resort Credit Crunchers). Please note that as hoteliers allocate rooms we cannot guarantee rooms next to one another or rooms with specific views. THEFTS AND ACCIDENTS Thefts and accidents that occur in resorts must be reported to the resort Representative ACCOMMODATION HOTELS All rooms are twin-bedded with private bathroom consisting of bath/shower, WC, wash hand basin. Most rooms have a balcony but this cannot be guaranteed. Hoteliers allocate all rooms. PLEASE NOTE: Three and four-bedded rooms are usually twin-bedded rooms with extra beds added. The number of hotel rooms able to accommodate four beds is limited and in some cases children may be required to share a single bed and rooms may be cramped. FREE and DISCOUNTED CHILDREN will share twin-bedded room with a minimum of two full-fare paying passengers. If a separate room is required the full price must be paid. Bed & Breakfast: Upon arrival in resort clients will book into rooms and the first meal is a Continental Breakfast the following morning. Full and Half-Board: For those taking full or half-board, evening dinner is the first meal and last meal is breakfast on day of departure. All Inclusive: Guests will be allowed drinks from the bar from 4pm on arrival day and 1st meal will be evening meal on arrival day. Last meal & drinks is breakfast on day of departure. PLEASE NOTE: Kettles, teapots and toasters are NOT provided in hotel rooms. APARTMENTS For those wishing to take a more informal holiday why not make yourself at home in one of our apartments and enjoy the freedom of a self-catering holiday. You can come and go as you please, eat when and wherever you wish at the many restaurants, cafes and bars at the resorts we are offering this year. PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally you will not be able to enter the apartment until 5.00pm. 1 FREE/DISCOUNTED CHILD PER APARTMENT. Guests may be required to walk and carry their own luggage to their apartments. 2/3 or 4 Person Studio Apartment: All studios consist of living area with sofa beds, kitchen area, bathroom with shower/bath, WC, and most have a balcony. Bed linen for up to 3 persons supplied. Towels are NOT provided. 4/5 Person Apartment: Apartments consist of one/two bedrooms with twin beds, living area with sleeping facilities for 2 persons (sofa beds), bathroom with bath/shower wash hand basin, WC, and kitchen area, most apartments have a balcony. Bed linen for up to 5 persons supplied. Towels are NOT provided. 5/6 Person Apartment: Apartments consist of one/two bedrooms with twin beds, living area with sleeping facilities for 2 persons (sofa beds), bathroom with bath/shower, wash hand basin, WC, and a kitchen area, most apartments have a balcony. Bed linen for up to 6 persons is supplied. Towels are NOT provided. PLEASE NOTE: Kettles, teapots and toasters are NOT provided in the apartments. COMPLAINTS: Any problems with your room, please inform reception. 4 Booking Hotline: (not hostesses or drivers of coaches) and a report must be obtained from the police for any insurance claims to be investigated. PASSPORTS Full passports are required for France and Spain. Separate passports for children are now required if not already included on parents passport. UNDERSTANDING YOUR INVOICE There has been some misunderstanding regarding the way accommodation is shown on your invoice. We follow the International Booking Standard which this example shows: 1 x 5 2 x 5 3 x 5 1 x 4 2 x 4 3 x 4 1 x 3 2 x 3 3 x 3 1 x 2 2 x 2 3 x 2 The first figure is the number of rooms/apartments booked and the second figure is the number of persons in each room/apartment. PAYMENTS Part payments and final balances should be sent to head office and can only be accepted between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday opening is for new bookings or brochure requests.

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE Unlike some major companies who insist on a large deposit plus insurance premiums when accepting reservations, we require just a 25 or 40 deposit per person when booking. ADEQUATE INSURANCE IS COMPULSORY. PLEASE NOTE: Credit card transactions are subject to a 2% charge, Debit Cards 50p. During 2012 we had to use Le Shuttle to France more often than in previous years. We understand that this caused concern for some clients. For 2013 we reverted back to the more traditional crossing for Ferris which is ferry from Dover to Calais. For 2014 we again expect to use ferry crossings on each journey, but in some unavoidable circumstances we may have to use Le Shuttle. All road and toll taxes. Hotel/Apartment accommodation. Meals (hotels only) as shown in the hotel description. Please note that on arrival the first meal will be evening dinner and on departure - breakfast. INFANTS TRAVEL FREE (BUT NO ) For both hotel accommodation and apartments infants up to 2/3 years of age travel FREE. All infants must travel on an adult lap, but coach seats may be purchased for 69/79 (infant seat price, no specialist baby/infant seat is provide). Food at the hotel or cot hire must be arranged with reception on arrival and any costs - usually around 10 Euros (approx per night) are paid directly to the hotel. DATES FOR FREE CHILD PLACES MAY VARY IN SOME HOTELS.PLEASE CHECK EACH INDIVIDUAL PAGE FOR EXACT DATES. FREE CHILD PLACES ARE UNLIMITED. It is only 15 minutes by taxi to the resort. GIRONA is the airport for Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar, Malgrat de Mar, Blanes, Pineda and Calella de Mar. A taxi from this airport to any of these resorts will take approximately minutes. BARCELONA AIRPORT is approximately 50 km from all resorts. It can be reached by taxi (which can be expensive) or a very good train service. ALICANTE AIRPORT is approximately 45 km from Benidorm and will take about 45 minutes by road. SPANISH RAILWAYS WEBSITE Select origen and destino, then click horario. You must make sure that you click on the right date as times may change depending on Saturdays, Sundays or working days TAXI TRANSFERS Although more expensive than public transport, taxis are definitely the simplest way to transfer to your resort. Taxis are readily available at Barcelona or Reus Airports. However if you are flying into Girona Airport we would recommend that you book your taxi in advance as there can often be delays, especially during peak season. Airport taxis will take up to 4 persons, so parties of 5 or more will need two taxis. We can arrange 7-seater, 15-seater or larger coaches in which case please contact the office. The following are approximate taxi prices and for a guide only (one way, maximum 4 persons).
