2 MISSION IMPACT IN 2015 ECONOMIC $1,019,000 revenue from recycling and refurbishment sales $228,000 income from grants and donations $233,353 taxpayer savings by employing people with disabilities SOCIAL Meaningful employment for 40 adults with autism and other disabilities, a workforce facing over 80% unemployment Employment increases personal independence and reduces dependence on taxpayer-funded benefits Vocational training employment and School District Employment Program transition ENVIRONMENTAL Electronics Recycled: 2,518,639 lbs. Hazardous Waste Diverted: 72,420 lbs. Fluorescent Bulbs Recycled: 30,704 bulbs Greenhouse gas emission reduction: 3,510,707 lbs Blue Star Recyclers

4 NEAL ANTHONY is proud of the work he does as Lead Warehouseman in the Blue Star Recyclers Denver facility. But, as he told a news reporter, since Neal is on the autism spectrum, it isn t easy finding jobs for people like me. The news story can be found on our website at Neal is also quite interested in healthy foods and can explain the heat index and merits of many different hot peppers.
