1 CALL FOR PAPERS 55 th ICHPER SD Anniversary World Congress December 19-21, 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey THEME OF THE CONGRESS Total Fitness & Wellness: HPERSD as an Integral Part of the Positive Improvement for Individuals It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 55th ICHPER SD Anniversary World Congress & Exposition that is being organized by the Physical Education Teachers Association of Turkey (TUBED) and to be held in Istanbul, Turkey from December 19 21, ICHPER SD, the administrative body and supported by the continental and regional representative organizations, presents a World Congress every other year in different parts of the World. The Physical Education Teachers Association of Turkey (TUBED), with the support of the Byproje Congress Organization Company will bring together sport scientists, researchers, sport event managers, sports facilities and equipment managers, sport marketers and customers all under one roof. Important Dates: Abstract Submission Deadline July 1st 2013 Acceptance/Rejection of Abstracts July 15 th 2013 Announcement of the Scientific Program August 1 st 2013 End of Early Bird Registration September 15 th 2013 Manuscript Submission Deadline September, 15 th 2013 Official Language of the Congress English will be the official language of the congress. All sessions will be conducted in English, and all presentation papers will be printed in English. English-Turkish simultaneous translation will be provided for all plenary sessions (keynote sessions) and for the programs of the Opening, Closing and Awards Ceremonies. However, English-Turkish simultaneous translations may be provided by volunteers or participants, if available, for all other presentations (general oral presentations, poster presentation, symposia, workshop and demonstration sessions). There may be a few selected

5 SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT: ABSTRACTS AND MANUSCRIPTS Abstracts must be submitted online in English (and Turkish for Turkish participants) via web site: Abstracts must strictly adhere to the abstract submission guidelines which you can find on the web site ( Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. The abstracts sent via or mail shall not be accepted. Abstracts must be submitted by July 1, No abstracts will be accepted after July 1, Each person is permitted to submit and be first author on only one abstract but may be a coauthor of as many other abstracts as desired. After submitting an abstract, retain the confirmation message sent to your address. You can track the entire assessment process related to your abstract via the system on the web site using your and password. For technical support or for any questions about the submission process, please contact: technicalsupport@worldcong2013.org NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE The appropriate Scientific Committee of the 55 th WCEOC 2013 in Turkey and the Scientific Committee of ICHPER SD in the U.S will notify the abstract submitter of acceptance or rejection by latest July 15, Accepted submitters must then register for the conference by September 15, 2013 or they will not be given a presentation slot or be published in the proceedings if they have submitted a manuscript. SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS Manuscript may be sent after acceptance of a presenter s abstract but before September 15, No manuscripts will be accepted after September 15, 2013, nor will they be included in the Congress Proceedings, which will be made available electronically on the ICHPER SD website after the WC. Manuscripts must adhere strictly to specification outlined in the Guidelines for Manuscripts (

Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. The abstracts sent via e-mail or mail shall not be accepted. Abstracts must be submitted by July 1, 2013. No abstracts will be accepted after July 1, 2013.

6 CONGRESS REGISRATION Registration procedure for early bird registration must be completed by September, Late registration fees of the 55 th World Congress & Exposition will be imposed for all categories of participants after September 15, All professionals attending the congress become ICHPER SD members by paying the appropriate Congress registration fee.
