John Sculley Today's world is smaller not just by virtue of digital communications, satellites, fax machines and the like but because of steady growth of truly global economy. Rapidly changing nature of the business and economy has opened up the issues of managing the business and sustaining the vigorous challenges at Global level. The contemporary issues arising through these economic activities need due consideration to move towards the triumphant future. Although the main objective of the conference is to bring innovative insight into various areas of today's and future interests of policy makers, business firms and researchers, this conference is aimed to inculcate the research aptitude amongst students, academicians & their corporate counterparts. This conference will provide a platform for exchange of knowledge, experience & ideas on sound management principles and practices. Such deliberations would promote sound theory base for practicing managers and academicians. About the College D.A.V. Centenary College, Faridabad was established in 1985 under the auspices of the D.A.V. College Managing committee, New Delhi, the renowned international charitable educational organization, to mark the 100 th year of the phenomenal service rendered by it in the field of education. Into the third decade of its existence, the college can proudly look back at a string of impressive achievements. Our college has remarkable achievements in academic field as well as in extracurricular activities. This college stands out among the institutions of higher learning in the region that college is a center of earnest academic pursuit is amply borne out by the consistently good showing of our students in the university exams. A huge number of our students bring laurels to the college by getting an exceptionally good score and quiet a few bagging high positions in the university merit lists. Also, the college hums with meaningful

3 &stimulating co-curricular and intellectual activities like song, dance, drama, debates, declamations, talks, lectures, seminars & workshops. About the Department of Commerce The department of commerce is one of the strongest pillars of D.A.V. Centenary College, Faridabad. Students of this department have consistently bagged merit positions in the university in the last decade. The teachers producing such quality graduates are also highly qualified. The faculty members have published their papers in various national conferences and seminars and have authored a number of books of under graduation as well as post graduation level. Department regularly conducts Faculty development programs, personality development workshops for students and parent teacher meet etc. Call for papers Papers should broadly address the conference theme and issues related to functional areas of commerce, management and technologies. 5 Guidelines for Submission of Abstract and Full Paper Soft copy in MS- Word of the abstract/ paper selected for presentation at the conference should be sent to the conference committee as per the schedule. The electronic copy should be mailed The abstract/papers must specify the purpose of research, methodology used, major findings, discussion & implications and references. The following guidelines must be adhered to: Maximum Length (Abstract) 200 words Maximum Length (Full Paper) 3000 words excluding title/cover page, references Margins 2.5 cm or 1 inch Font Times News Roman, 12 Point Spacing 1.5 Title Page Title, author(s), affiliation(s), contact details Keywords Maximum four Style for Writing References APA Format Papers will be reviewed thoroughly by experts and selected papers may be published in the International Journal bearing ISSN number.
