3 HISTORY MIT School Of Government is the first institute of its kind to initiate a Leadership Program on Politics & various facets of Government in June Inaugurated at the hands of then Vice President of India, Late Shri. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on June 07, 2005 Mr. T. N. Seshan (former CEC) is its first Chairman and Chief Mentor.

4 WHY MIT-SOG? India being a young & vibrant democracy where majority of its population is under 35 years of age. The country looks forward to young & educated leaders who make this nation a global super power. We find more and more youngsters embracing politics as a profession and politics itself has become very competitive. Today, various developed economies look towards India for consultation on different international issues. As the days progress the demand for highly qualified young intellectuals in Indian politics & various sectors of the government are bound to increase.

5 OBJECTIVE To create knowledge driven leaders for India who can put our nation on the path of relentless growth. To create professionals who can effectively and efficiently enhance the functioning of the government. To educate people on various facets of the functioning of the government at various levels right from Panchayat to State Legislature to Parliament. To provide knowledge and bridge the gap between the functioning of the corporate, co-operatives, social organization and government.

As back office executives in Political Parties. As Political Analysts & Election Consultants etc. ii) Students interested in actively pursuing politics, for them the course is an eye opener as we are exposing them to all the facets of government & nuances of politics in India as well as providing them with the much-needed global exposure. iii) Several leading corporate houses having social wings are interested in recruiting people with this kind of exposure. A career in NGOs as Consultant or at the Advisory level is also a very good option.

20 10 years of Consistent Efforts to bring in the Change COURSE FEE The Program Fee comprises of two components COURSE FEE (mandatory) and OPTIONAL COURSE FEE: Rs. 2,50,000/- Payable in 2 installments (it includes cost of field visits, National Study Tour, Course material & laptop offered by the institute). The selected Applicants for MPG-12 need to pay the first installment of course fee i.e. Rs. 1,00,000/- to be paid as informed to the candidate. (Rs /- non-refundable in case of withdrawal of admission on or before July 31, 2016) OPTIONAL: 2-WEEK INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOUR fee will be charged on actual basis. HOSTEL FEE Rs.30,000/- per participant on sharing basis (inclusive of Boarding charges only). Facilities available till the commencement of the International Study Tour.
