The campus is located in Silicon Valley at Electronic City, surrounded by companies like Wipro, HP, Infosys, etc. National Conference on SMART Healthcare landscape: Create & Navigate The Indian healthcare industry size is expected to touch US$ 280 billion by The drivers of the growth are growing population and economy, shift in demographics, rise in disposable income, health insurance, increase in incidence of lifestyle-related diseases, rising literacy, tax benefits and medical tourism. In spite of the numerous opportunities in the Indian health care sector the landscape also faces huge challenges. The World Health Organization, in its ranking of health-care systems of the world, placed India at a dismal 112th position out of 190 countries it studied. This is corroborated by the fact that India spends just 4.2% of its GDP on health care, of which public health spending is mere 1.2%, compared to 3 per cent in China and 8.3 per cent in the United States. Healthcare delivery and services in India continue to be lacking. India needs to add 1.7 million beds, double its medical manpower and increase its paramedical manpower three-fold to match WHO standards. Therefore, it becomes imperative to create an environment conducive to facilitate infrastructure creation and increase investments across the health-care ecosystem. Key recommendations in budget that will have a direct impact on enhancing health care access include a rise in foreign direct investment (FDI) limit in the medical insurance business to 49 percent; four more medical institutions of the status of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS); 12 more medical colleges in the public sector; and broadband connections in rural areas to expand the reach of telemedicine. To achieve universal health coverage in India, health care should be placed at the core of the economic development. The Public sector and the private sector need to navigate in tandem with different multipronged approaches to achieve the desired health outcomes

Health Promotion & Marketing Adwitya 2015 is a platform for academicians, researchers, industry experts, corporate & students to deliberate on the recent advancements and innovations in health delivery models, usage of IT in better health outcome, start ups in healthcare space & other approaches for better health outcome in the Indian healthcare sector CALL FOR PAPERS Adwitya 2015 is inviting papers for oral and poster presentation. The abstracts and full papers may be submitted at (website) or can be sent alternatively to conference.bangalore@iihmr.org.in GUIDELINES TO AUTHORS Abstract submission: The following format should be followed to write the abstract: Title of Paper followed by the name of the author (s).the address of the author (s) should be placed in the footnote. Abstract should include a Brief Introduction, Objective, Methodology and, conclusions without any subheading. The abstract should not exceed 300 words excluding paper title & author details. No more than two abstract can be submitted by one author. Authors should underline the name of the presenter. Full Paper Submission : Adwitya 2015 is planning to publish the proceedings of the conference by its theme title Smart Healthcare Landscapes: Create and Navigate so it's recommended that authors submit the full papers of their research/ conceptual work within the stipulated time. To submit the full paper, the authors are requested to write title of paper followed by the name of the Author (s). The address of the authors should be placed in the footnote. An Abstract of 300 words. The abstract should be prepared in Microsoft word,times new roman 12pt font The paper should be prepared in MS WORD, Times New Roman 12pt font, with single line spacing of not more (5000) words. The full paper must be having the following subheadings; Introduction, Objective, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion. The reference must be given in Vancouver style Poster Submission: Presenters should print and bring their own poster. The selected posters would be displayed in the venue and presentation will take place in front of the poster. The presenter should be the Author(s). Poster design: Posters should include the title of the research, author(s) name, Institution. Each poster will be numbered by the committee. The recommended sizes for poster are: 70cm length x 56 cm width, 28 Length X 22 width. Kindly adhere to the size prescribed. Registrations form should be submitted for poster presentations also by 5th December 2015.

4 Note: All abstracts must be submitted electronically through by 25th November The decision to select the abstract solely lies with the Review committee. The last date for submitting the full paper for oral presentation is 15th December Ph.D scholars are encouraged to participate. There will also be a Best research paper / Poster competition. Best paper / poster competition will be evaluated by panel of experts from the relevant field. Registration Fees S.
