2 About the training Please read all the information in this document before booking to take Part One of the training This training covers a range of highly effective techniques and skills that are not taught in any other professional clutter clearing course. Major emphasis is placed on learning to discern the underlying reasons why a client has accumulated clutter in the first place, to allow them to gain a new perspective about it, which in turn leads to a greater willingness to let it go. The training also includes advanced personal energy management techniques that are essential for all professionals in this field of work to know and practice. The training is in three parts: Part One: Sep 1-30, 2015 or February 10-29, 2016 (online course) Testimonials from previous participants Part Two: Mar 27-31, 2016 (residential course in the UK) Testimonials from previous participants Part Three: Apr 1 Aug 31, 2016 (conducted via , skype, & a private message board) Testimonials from previous participants Part One is a preliminary course that is open to everyone who has taken my three public online clutter clearing courses and is interested to train as a clutter clearing practitioner. Part Two is designed to give each participant the knowledge and skills to work professionally with clients. This is then put into practice in Part Three. It is a condition of registering for the training that each participant agrees NOT to claim to have been trained by Karen Kingston as a professional Clutter Clearing Practitioner if they do not complete all three parts of the training or do not maintain Continuing Professional Development requirements after certification. This would be unethical and unfair to those who do the work of achieving and maintaining certification status. Completion of all three parts of the training is required for Clutter Clearing Practitioner certification. 3 Preparatory courses Three online courses taught by Karen Kingston If you are interested to train with me, the first step is to take my trilogy of online courses: Fast Track Clutter Clearing Zero Procrastination Clear Your Paper Clutter These are not professional courses but the information included in them and the experience of taking them will provide an essential foundation to the knowledge and skills taught in the professional training. If you have not already taken these courses, the opportunities to do so in 2015 are: Fast Track Clutter Clearing: May 5-25, Oct 5-25, 2015 & Mar 1-21, 2016 Zero Procrastination: June 1-21 & Nov 1-21, 2015 Clear Your Paper Clutter: July 5-25 & Nov 27-Dec 21, 2015 To be eligible to take the Part One course in September 2015 you must have booked and paid to take these three courses before the end of To be eligible to take the Part One course in February 2016, you must have booked and paid to take all three online courses by March 21, Copyright Karen Kingston Page 2 of 10

4 Part One September 1-30, 2015 or February 10-29, 2016 An online course taught by Karen Kingston The 20-day course in February 2016 will cover the same 10 steps as the 30-day course in September 2015, but will be for a smaller group so a new step will be posted every 2 days instead of every 3 days. About Part One It is essential that you clutter clear your own home before offering this service to others so that you know first-hand what is involved, and are not preaching something you do not practice yourself. It's also important to have sourced your own clutter issues so that you do not project them onto clients. This part of the training will be conducted via a private message board, and the content will be specifically tailored to the participants taking it. The course will be taken offline and deleted at midnight US Pacific time on the last day. Confidentiality It is a condition of participating in the online course that each person agrees not to share the content with anyone outside it. This includes my posts and other people's posts, both during the course and after it has finished. This is necessary in order to create a space where each person will feel able to be honest and open. Registering for the course is deemed to be a legally binding acceptance of this condition. You may share your own posts as you wish. Audio book special offer After registering for the Part One course, you will be eligible to purchase the CD edition of the Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui audio book at the special offer price of 12 plus shipping costs (+ 20% UK VAT will be added for EU residents). This offer is available until the end of the online course. Important note Participating in Part One will NOT qualify you to do professional clutter clearing and will NOT automatically mean you will be accepted for Part Two. The Part One course is structured with the intention that each person will get value from it regardless of whether or not they progress to Part Two, but I will only be inviting the people I feel confident I can train to continue. 5 Part Two March 27-31, 2016 A 4-day residential training in England taught by Karen Kingston & Richard Sebok About Part Two During this part of the training you will be taught in-depth clutter clearing skills that cannot be learnt from a distance. Group size The group is expected to be a maximum of 30 participants. Dates The Part Two training starts at 5.00pm on Sunday, March 27, 2016 and ends at 2.30pm on Thursday, March 31, When making travel arrangements, please make sure that you will be able to attend the entire training. If you will be travelling some distance, it is best to arrive at least a day early to sleep off any jetlag so that you will be fresh for the course. INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING The training fee includes: 4 days of tuition by Karen Kingston and Richard Sebok 4 nights' accommodation in a Classic bedroom at the East Sussex National Resort Dinner on March 27, 2016 Breakfast, lunch, & dinner on March 28, 29 & 30, 2016 Breakfast & lunch on March 31, 2016 Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks Free access to the hotel gym and the 20-metre swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna, and steam-room during your stay The training fee does NOT include: Flights and transportation to & from the venue Comprehensive personal travel insurance (a requirement for all non-uk residents) Access to the hotel spa (although you can book and pay for body or beauty treatments if you wish to, if they can be arranged at times that will not clash with our training schedule) Access to the hotel's two golf course (although we have negotiated green fees of just 35 if you would like to have a game before or after the training) Important note Participating in Part Two will not in any way qualify you to do professional clutter clearing and will not automatically mean you will be accepted for Part Three, which is the most challenging part of the training. 6 hoped that all participants will continue, but it is not guaranteed. Each person will be assessed on an individual basis. THE VENUE The training will be held at The East Sussex National Resort, a 104-room hotel set in 1100 acres of English countryside, complete with a health spa, two championship golf courses, and an award-winning restaurant. 7 hotel and paid for separately by you, together with any extra room charges you incur or use of hotel facilities that are not included in the training. To reserve additional nights at the quoted prices, please use the address and reference number that will be sent to you after paying your accommodation deposit. Catering The restaurant has an excellent reputation. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets can be catered for if advance notice is given on your registration form. GETTING THERE Arriving by car There is ample free parking available at the hotel. Arriving by air The nearest airport is Gatwick (LGW), which is 25 miles (about 45 minutes) by taxi. Heathrow Airport (LHR) is 60 miles (about 1.5 hours) by taxi, or about 4 hours by tube, train and taxi. Arriving by train The nearest stations are Uckfield (about 2 minutes away by taxi) and Lewes (about 15 minutes away by taxi). Trains run to Uckfield (UCK) and Lewes(LWS) from London Bridge (LBG), and to Lewes (LWS) from London Victoria (VIC). Please contact Reception at least 24 hours before you are due to arrive to receive landing instructions. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS All non-uk participants will need to have valid travel documents to enter the UK. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct documents, and no refunds of course fees or accommodation costs will be made if for some reason you are refused entry. Please check that your passport or EU identity card is valid for your travel dates. TRAVEL INSURANCE All non-uk residents are required to have travel insurance to cover emergency medical and repatriation expenses (flying you home in the event of illness or death). Karen Kingston International Ltd and Karen Kingston take no responsibility for any such expenses. Please details of your insurance company name and policy number to courses@karenkingston.com by February 28, 2016 at the latest. EU residents please note that a European Health Insurance Card will cover you for standard medical treatment in the UK, but does not provide repatriation cover or other benefits of travel insurance. 9 GENERAL INFORMATION What to bring Please bring a notebook and pen. If you prefer to use a portable device to take notes, please only do so if the keyboard is a silent one. What to wear Wear smart, casual clothing, ideally made of mostly natural rather than synthetic materials. No black fabrics or blue denim jeans. Smart denim trousers in other colours are fine. Photos & recording Audio or video recording is not permitted during the course. Please do not take any photos of Karen Kingston or Richard Sebok at any time, and do not take photos of other participants unless you ask their permission first. Staying in touch There is a phone in each bedroom and free WiFi throughout the hotel. Please disable the WiFi on any of your devices while in class, and do not promise to be in touch with loved ones or friends at any specific times as our schedule may sometimes vary. Perfumes & scented products Please do not wear any perfumes during the course that could bother other participants, or use any scented skin, hair, or other products. Alcohol, caffeine & sugar To get the most from the training, please do not consume any alcohol, starting from 24 hours before the Part Two course begins. It is also recommended that you minimize the consumption of sugar and caffeine throughout the course and preferably have none at all. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the venue or the venue grounds. TRAINING FEE The Part Two training fee is 1440, including meals, accommodation & VAT. For participants of the September 2015 Part One course, an Early Bird price of 1200 is available if booked and paid by November 30, 2015 Payment An accommodation deposit of 600 is required for both full price and Early Bird registrations. The balance is due by January 7, If not paid in full by that date, your place will be forfeit and will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. Your deposit will only be refunded if another participant takes your place at short notice. You will need to pay your own travel costs and travel insurance. Copyright Karen Kingston Page 8 of 10

10 Part Three April 1 August 31, 2016 Five months of case studies with tuition by Karen Kingston & Richard Sebok About Part Three This part of the training consists of conducting clutter clearing case studies in the country where you plan to offer your services. Tuition will be given via skype, , and a private message board that only trainees have access to. The number of case studies required will vary from person to person, depending on how quickly and easily you are able to achieve the required standard, but it is expected that most trainees will need to do five. If more are required, and there is still time to do them before the training ends, there will be an additional fee of 250 per case study (+ 20% UK VAT for EU residents). To participate in this part of the training you will need to be able to send and receive s, use skype video, and have a good enough command of written English and typing to be able to write your own case study reports. TRAINING FEE The Part Three training fee is 1250 (+ 20% UK VAT for EU residents) If invited after Part Two to take the Part Three training, payment will be due by April 7, 2016, so that you can immediately engage Part Three when you return home. CERTIFICATION I do not offer the type of trainings where you pay your money and get your certification at the end, regardless of your skills. The application process is designed to enrol the trainees who have the best chance of completing the training successfully, but there is no guarantee you will receive certification at the end. Most trainees do, however you cannot rely on it. If certification level has not been attained by the final day of the course (August 31, 2016) then it will be necessary to apply for further training. 11 Other information CANCELLATION POLICIES Registrations for all parts of the training are not transferable to another course or person, and no refunds will be made for any parts that are missed for any reason. Part One The September 2015 online course fee is fully refundable until midnight UK time on August 31, The February 2016 online course fee is fully refundable until midnight UK time on February 9, After these dates, no refunds will be made. Part Two Up until Jan 7, 2016, a full refund will be made, less your accommodation deposit of 600. If another participant takes your place then your deposit will be refunded too. From Jan 8, 2016 to Jan 31, 2016, a 25% refund will be made for registrations that have been paid in full. After Jan 31, 2016, no refunds will be made. Part Three Up until April 14, 2016, a full refund will be made upon request. After April 15, 2016, no refunds will be made. Notification of cancellation All cancellations must be notified by to: courses@karenkingston.com. In the highly unlikely event of any course being cancelled by Karen Kingston International Ltd due to unforeseen circumstances, all fees will be refunded in full but no compensation will be paid for any travel or other expenses incurred. Some types of trip cancellation insurance will cover this, such as for UK residents). AFTER CERTIFICATION Subject to maintaining current Continuing Professional Development (CPD), you will: Have ongoing access to the Virtual Network for Karen Kingston practitioners and trainees Be eligible to advertise your services in my International Directory of Practitioners Be eligible to advertise your services in my monthly newsletters TEACHING Certification as a Clutter Clearing Consultant will allow you to give talks about clutter clearing (up to a maximum of one hour) based on the information in my Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui book but will NOT authorize you to teach clutter clearing seminars or workshops, or train clutter clearing consultants.
