2 UCLH 10 Year Celebration of Head and Neck Surgery University College Hospital London Head and Neck Department is 10 years old. The organising committee cordially invites you to celebrate with us at an academic meeting at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, followed by a celebratory banquet. Anyone with an interest in head and neck, specifically clinical nurse specialists, SpRs, head and neck consultant surgeons, clinical/medical oncologists and all members of the MDT are encouraged to attend. We particularly welcome former trainees to celebrate with us. This meeting will be held in parallel with the 7th Scientific Meeting of the HNODIS Society and it will be possible to interact between the two meetings. There will be a tracheostomy study event in the morning and an AHP break out session focusing on enhanced recovery in the afternoon. Keynote lectures will include aspects of state of the art head and neck surgery including imaging, optical diagnostic techniques and oncology. We are particularly pleased to welcome a guest keynote lecture from Professor Susan Standring, editor in chief of Grays Anatomy.

3 The 7th Scientific Meeting of the Head and Neck Optical Diagnostics and Intervention Society The Head and Neck Optical Diagnostics and Intervention Society (HNODIS) was founded in 2008 to encourage the development and implementation of novel, light-based diagnostic and therapeutic methods in the upper aerodigestive tract for the benefit of patients worldwide. After being held abroad for several years, the HNODIS returns to London for its 7th Scientific Meeting in order to continue its efforts to set new standards in the field of optical diagnosis and therapy. We encourage attendance from clinicians, scientists and medical device/pharmaceutical company representatives with an interest in optical diagnosis and therapy, and anyone who wants to know more about these pioneering and trendsetting developments. The meeting has always been very productive with regards to establishing new networks as well as for exchanging thoughts with other experts, and we expect nothing less for this year s gathering. Apart from invited keynote lectures on novel advances in head and neck optical diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, there will be two special sessions which focus on diagnostic product development and multi-centre trials. We also happily accept selected contributions (oral communications and poster presentations) from the attendees; the deadline for the submission of abstracts is the 31st of May 2015 and further details can be found at
