Deadline for submissions is July 31, In addition, Tennessee internal medicine residents, MD and DO medical students, and internists practicing in the State of Tennessee, are eligible to enter our fourth annual ACP Tennessee Chapter Narrative Medicine competition. Please visit the Chapter Web site for information about the narrative competition. The deadline for this is September 1, A Medical Student breakfast will be held on Saturday morning. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in allergy and immunology, hepatology, cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, palliative care, and pharmacotherapy for the practice of internal medicine. Increase confidence in performing orthopedic exams. Become familiar with new models of care delivery and reimbursement in Tennessee. Know the most up-to-date developments in hospital medicine. CME Accreditation The American College of Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
