I have developed the HAZOP conducting capability and also purchased PHA-PRO software at India.We have conducted all HAZOPs with internal as well as external HAZOP chairman. I have catalyzed the process to bought PHAST (consequence Analysis) software for India.I have developed the capability for dispersion and consequence analysis at India. Operations Headed Ethylene Plant Operations. Handled Ethylene Plant Turnaround as Leader of overall TA. This turnaround was taken after 6 years of continuous operations. The jobs involve around 1000 jobs involving welding and cutting. During this turn around Flare structure maintenance job was completed.75% of flare structure job was done online. For this job risk assessment was done. I had done the flare radiation calculations and analysis which we used for risk assessment and innovative solutions for execution of the job. 4 I responded as Incident controller to an incident of Hydrocarbon fire injuring one person in Ethylene plant furnace area (2009). The incident happened during start up of the plant after major upset.( I helped the Incident Investigation Team by modeling this incident to narrow down the possibilities of leak source and ignition source) C) Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(IPCL) Operations Worked as Shift In Charge of 4,00,000 TPA Ethylene Plant. Handled normal shift operations,troubleshooting and emergencies like steam,power, DCS failure. The job involved daily production planning, daily maintenance jobs planning, coordination with maintenance. I was involved in 2003 Ethylene Plant turnaround as leader for activities in Distillation towers and Quench Towers. I worked as DCS panel officer for TPA Ethylene Plant have Stone & Webster Gas based technology. Hands On Experience of DCS System TDC3000. Involved in turnaround activities in 1998 in which IPCL expanded its furnace capacity by addition of one furnace, installed additional Propane processing capacity and capacity enhancement in cryogenic separation section. Involved in commissioning and start up activities of IPCL's Dahej (Gandhar ) Ethylene plant. During this commissioning I worked is cryogenic separation section involving Methane, ethylene and propylene separation. I was responder and part of emergency handling crew when High Pressure(70barg) Liquid Ethylene line leak followed by explosion and fire took place in IPCL s cryogenic storage area. The incident happened during start up of the plant after major turn-around.
