7 Our People Donald Reid (B Com (VPM)) Director Neville Harpur (BBS, Property Management) Director Donald has 25 years of commercial property experience in New Zealand and Australia having worked for Apple Fields, Westpac Properties and APN Property (Melbourne). He has an extensive background in property including corporate tenant advisory and property asset and portfolio management. Donald has been involved in property and projects in New Zealand and Australia, including Mornington Peninsula (VIC, Australia) shopping centre, Temple Court Apartments (Collins Street, Melbourne), Parc Provence (Canterbury), Hickory Place Industrial (Christchurch). Donald specialises in acquisitions, project management, negotiation, advocacy and asset management. Neville has been involved in the commercial property industry for 27 years. He worked for Wellington-based Government Property Services Ltd and its successor Capital Properties NZ Ltd (CPNZ) for 16 years before starting his own property consultancy business in As CPNZ s Auckland Manager Neville was in charge of $200 million commercial and industrial property assets. During that time, Neville successfully negotiated new leases on more than 21,000 square metres of accommodation. Neville has a proven track record in active asset management, lease negotiation, tenant advocacy and identifying investment opportunities for clients. Wade Allen (BA, Economics) Associate Wade has been in the commercial property industry for 27 years working for NZI, Brierley Investments, National Bank, Trans Tasman Properties (TTP) and Manson Developments (Mansons). From 2001 until early 2009, Wade worked as Leasing Manager for TTP and then Mansons. During this time, Wade negotiated many major new office leases in a number of significant CBD assets owned by TTP and assisted Mansons with its development and leasing of around 100,000m² of commercial office space in the Great South Road / Greenlane southern corridor. Wade specialises in asset and lease management, office leasing solutions together with the sale and purchase of development sites and commercial buildings.

Heartland Bank Limited: Tenant Advocacy - This is an on-going role in which Murchison Group is involved in assessing accommodation options (current and future) and offering strategic insight, including: Liaising on behalf of Heartland with architects, real estate agents, lawyers, contractors etc; sourcing alternative accommodation; negotiating new leases; and negotiating any legacy issues with existing leases. Finance Company (confidential): Commercial Property Asset Management - Our role involved turning around a distressed property asset for the Mortgagee, including: Re-building relationships with the incumbent tenants and gaining their trust. negotiating new leases: attracting new tenants: overseeing tenant fitouts: supervising the completion of outstanding maintenance items: formalising service contracts; and providing maintenance budgets and capital expenditure forecasts. Pead PR: Tenant Advocacy Our role involved space planning and needs analysis, sourcing new premises, negotiation with existing and new landlords, overseeing fitout and moving process. Rodney District Council: Owner s Representative Employed as advisor and negotiator for circa $60M in property asset sales for Rodney Property Limited which provides quality independent advice to Rodney District Council. Manson TCLM Limited: Negotiation Owner s Representative Negotiator for sale of assets in Wellington and Auckland of approx $20M for one of New Zealand s largest private development companies. LeasePlan New Zealand Limited: Tenant Advocacy Identification of possible accommodation solutions to meet the client s brief, seeking lease proposals and negotiating a new Lease with the successful Landlord. Finance Now: Tenant Advocacy - Identification of possible accommodation solutions to meet the client s brief, seeking lease proposals and negotiating a new lease with the successful Landlord.
