2 The German joint research project Develops and improves marine Copernicus services in Germany 4 scientific sub projects develop user friendly products to pre operational status 5 th sub project DeMarine User Office supports and improves interaction between users, project scientists, and European policy makers Combined analysis of remote sensing data, modeling studies, in situ observations, and monitoring data allows for (further)development of products providing: 1. Information about physical and ecological state of German waters 2. Near real time seastate variables at high spatial resolution 3. Enhanced intertidal flats 4. Near real time sea ice state DeMarine serves as an interface between German users and European Copernicus institutions and activities, and will finally deliver products that are specific to the enduser needs.
