1 Tender for Blinds SPIC invites sealed tender in two bid system i.e.(1)technical bid, (2).Financial bid from reputed vendors for fixing the blinds in all the rooms & halls of SPIC as per scope of work at Annexure I. Terms and Conditions: 1. Tender should be in a 2 bid system i.e. technical bid and financial bid sealed in two separate cover super scribed as technical bid and financial bid. Both the sealed bids should be in a separate sealed envelope super scribed as Tender for Blinds. 2. EMD amounting to Rs. 10,000/-(Rs. Ten thousand only) in the shape of DD in favour of CEO, SPIC is required to be attached. 3. The complete address of the firm, name of the contact person along with contact numbers is required. 4. The tendering firm is advised to visit the site of work at his own cost and collect all information that he considers necessary for proper assessment of the prospective assignment. 5. The installation of all the items should be completed at Consignee s site within 30 days from the date of issue of supply order. 6. The firm shall quote their rates in INR for each & every item used for supply of tendered items which include all taxes, transportation, labour charges, installations and nothing extra shall be paid on any account. Service tax, VAT, if any should be mentioned clearly in rupees. 7. The Payment will be released only after final inspection of items installed at consignee s site only. 8. The material used for supply of tendered items should have functional warranty for 1 year from the date of completion of work. The supplier will replace the defective material free of cost, if noticed within the warranty period. 9. Quantity quoted in tender notice is approximate. 10. Tender duly complete in all respects should be submitted in the Office of SPIC, Chandigarh on by AM. The received quotes will be opened on same date at 3.00 PM in the O/o SPIC. Bidder who wish to be present may come. 11. In case last date happens to be a Govt. holiday, then the next working day will be the date of receipt of tenders. 12. Bidder should have PAN and service Tax number.

2 13. Rates should be valid for 3 months. 14. Tender received after due date and time will not be entertained. 15. Tender must be without cutting and overwriting. 16. CEO, SPIC reserves the right to reject any or all of the received bids without assigning any reason. 17. Any legal dispute will be subject to Chandigarh jurisdiction. TECHNICAL BID Technical bid as mentioned above shall contain the following information: 1. The bidder should have satisfactorily supplied & installed blinds in (at least one of them in Central Government/Central autonomous body/central PSU/central undertaking body/state Govt. Dept./Educational Institutes) each costing minimum Rs. 2 Lakhs. (List should be enclosed in technical bid with documentary proof). 2. Specimen Sample of quoted items (with suitable ref. No. or mark for identification) should also be submitted. 3. Earnest money amounting to Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) in the shape of Bank Draft in favour of CEO, SPIC, Chandigarh. 4. Bidder has to deposit tender fee of Rs 2000/- (Non-refundable) 5. Copy of service tax no. and PAN No. 6. Certificate of acceptance of all the terms and conditions. 7. Any other special information.

WORKING SITE : The working site i.e. O/oSociety for Promotion of Information Technology in Chandigarh office PEC University of Technology Campus, Sector 12, Chandigarh. 3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF BLINDS ARE : (a) The blinds should be Zebra & Roller blinds type(specimen picture is enclosed as Annexure II). Name/type may differ from firm to firm. (b) The blinds should be water resistant. (c) Blinds should be fitted on aluminium headrails duly powder coated and fitted with stainless steel drive rods. (f) Manual system should be used to tilt & raise the blind. (h) The blinds should have ISI mark.
