1 Conference Facilities The of offers a diverse range of flexible spaces for teaching, training, meetings and workshops in a quiet, natural setting that allows you to get the most from your event. Situated on 20 hectares of beautifully maintained gardens, amid adjacent forest, it boasts a mix of contemporary and historic buildings offering modern conferencing technology. The campus has been an important location for forest science education since 1910 and contains original goldfields architecture of significance to Victoria s heritage, yet conducts world class research in very modern facilities. The campus and the beautiful township of Creswick are only 90 minutes easy drive from the heart of Melbourne. We are 20 minutes from the centre of Victoria s largest regional city, Ballarat, the home of Eureka, which itself is linked to Melbourne by fast, comfortable regional rail. Our facilities are available for half a day, a full day or for residential events in conjunction with our accommodation facilities which can house up to 70 guests in single and/or twinshare rooms. Our full commercial kitchen and dining room allows us to offer a variety of catering options, ranging from the very simple to full residential packages. Should you wish to self cater, there are smaller kitchens available and Creswick, a few hundred metres from the campus, offers a supermarket, two hotels and several great cafes. In addition to the main conference and training facilities, the campus has a wide range of other facilities and spaces that may suit your needs. 2 Reception Building 744 Lecture Theatre The Lecture Theatre is 130m 2 in size and seats a maximum of 120 people in tiered seating. It features a lectern, data projector, overhead projector and wall mounted whiteboards. The touch panel system at the lectern controls lighting and all equipment. There is laptop connectivity for presenters or an imac with dual boot is available. Seminar Room The Seminar Room is 60m 2 in size, seats 26 and can be configured in boardroom, U-shape or workshop styles. It provides the same audio-visual features as the Lecture Theatre plus an electronic whiteboard. Foyer The spacious foyer, outside both the Lecture Theatre and Seminar Room, is the ideal breakout space. It is also the perfect venue for your catering needs if you do not require the more formal seated setting in the campus dining room. It provides direct access to reception and modern amenities.

3 Seminar Centre Building 713 The Seminar Centre is the perfect venue for residential training courses. It is 130m 2 in size, seating up to 60 people in theatre style, and containing tables and chairs that you can arrange in a myriad of styles to suit your needs. It is located in a secluded part of the campus offering privacy and quiet to your group. There is a small kitchenette for self service refreshments. The centre is equipped with a data projector, wireless internet, electronic whiteboard and overhead projector. Collaborative Learning Centre The Collaborative Learning Centre is 47m 2 in size and seats up to 20 people in boardroom style only. Located in the historic library building it features a data projector, portable whiteboard and videoconferencing facilities. Large Meeting Room The Large Meeting Room is 48m 2 in size, seating up to 20 people in boardroom style It features modern videoconferencing facilities.

4 Residential Accommodation The campus offers a range of short and longterm accommodation at a budget price that makes staying at Creswick so affordable. The two images to the right show Semmens Hall s guest lounge and an example of one of our single rooms. All bathroom facilities on campus are shared. AVG House has large dormitory style bathrooms; Semmens Hall and The Lodge have small individual ensuite-style bathrooms. The images below and bottom right are the recreation building, where a full-size pool table and light, bright lounge are available to all guests staying on campus.

5 Other Facilities The two images to the left show the well appointed gymnasium and its attached multifunction room. We also have other spaces available that can enhance, or may be more suitable for, your function, including the Uni Classroom (below left) and Small Meeting Room (below).

It is easy walking distance to the main street of the Creswick township and just 20 minutes drive to the centre of the regional city of Ballarat, Victoria s largest inland city. By road, Creswick is around 1½ to 2 hours drive from Melbourne via the Western Freeway (M8) and Midland Highway (A300). The campus is signposted from the town s main street.
