Within the IT and ERP markets we have specialist practices organised into technology verticals including SAP, Digital & Technology, Oracle & PeopleSoft, Salesforce and Testing & Infrastructure. Our specialist pharmaceutical practice was launched in 2003 with a focus on all stages of the drug development life cycle. Our History: Square One was established in 1995 with the vision to create a recruitment agency that employees would want to work for. Now, with over 100 staff we are still privately owned and maintain our original mission; to empower people and companies to fulfil their visions. We operate in a fun, firm, fair and friendly way. Since our inception, we have grown rapidly to become financially strong, with a long-standing reputation for excellent service. In 2008 Square One opened their first European office in The Netherlands, followed by the Poland office, which was opened in 2013, expanding our footprint across Europe. We offer a dynamic working environment in contemporary offices in the heart of London, Warsaw and Amsterdam. 7 Benefit Includes Qualifying Period Gym Membership Monthly contribution towards a gym membership 3 Months Travel Insurance Worldwide Travel Insurance 3 Months Pension Scheme All employees will be auto-enrolled into a Scottish Widows pension scheme 3 Months Private Healthcare Covers the cost of cover for employees and dependents living at your current address 6 Months Cycle to work Scheme Allows employees to purchase a bike and equipment up to the value of 1000 tax free 6 Months All benefits are not contractual and subject to review, they may vary from time to time. Some benefits may be taxable.
8 Car Allowance Commission Uncapped Commission Everything over 4k per month billings* 20% on Contract** 25% on Perm *Under 4k, 10% Contract, 15% Perms **Subject to negotiating over 15% client margin Square One provides a flexible company car scheme that has three levels of benefit. Employees qualify for the scheme once specific targets have been met. Drive a car up to the value of 12,000 (Level 1) Drive a car up to the value of 20,000 (Level 2) Drive a car up to the value of 35,000 (Level 3) OR Receive an extra 300 per month (Level 1) Receive an extra 400 per month (Level 2) Receive an extra 500 per month (Level 3)
9 Other Incentives: Regular incentives are awarded to those that consistantly meet targets and show a real commitment towards the team. Past/current incentives include; Vouchers of your choice Scaling the O2 Arena Thames RIB Experience Achievers Lunch 3 night holiday break in a European destination SPOD & OPOD The Sales Person of Distinction and Operations Person of Distinction may also be eligible for the above incentives. See below for details SPOD Award (Sales Person of Distinction) The SPOD award is not based purely on the number of sales but an individual s demonstration of the Square One values, ethos and general excellent Salesmanship. The Sales Director will decide the winner based on nominations received or someone they personally believe is a worthy winner. OPOD Award (Operations Person of Distinction) In a similar way the SPOD award, if a member of the Operations team provides an outstanding service then they will be recognised for their hard work and commitment.
10 Square One: Events The Board of Directors understands how hard their employees work and that s why they like to treat everyone to a party or two. Working for Square One is not just about the work, we like to work hard and enjoy the parties once the work is done.
11 Fundraising Each year Square One employees are given the opportunity to nominate a charity for the company to sponsor. This year we are fundraising for Anthony Nolan, MacMillan, Huntingtons Disease and Crohns and Colitis UK. We run small events internally for staff to participate in and some employees get involved further by completing sponsored activities to raise as much money as possible. There are a number of ways to get the whole company involved, for example we have a Dress Down Day once a month where each member of staff pays 1 to dress in casual attire. It s not compulsory but we encourage employees to donate to the cause. Employees have previously participated in amateur boxing matches, raffles, skydives, charity runs, sponsored bike rides and even a Sahara Trek! Square One encourages employees to carry out challenges and therefore allows staff a limited amount of paid time off
12 Some of Our Square Oners: Senior Sales Manager Adam Breacher Joined Square One June 2007 About Adam Joining Square One in 2007, Adam rapidly developed his sales and leadership skills. He was promoted to Development and Infrastructure Team Leader following fantastic billing results and a sales record that included doing 8 contract deals in one month. In April 2014 he was further promoted to Sales Manager taking responsibility for the sales floor in the Director s absence. Favourite thing about working at Square One No two days are ever the same at Square One, your hard work is appreciated and you are rewarded and promoted accordingly. Jan Foryszewski Sales Manager Contract - ERP Joined Square One January 2010 About Jan Jan has a proven track record of delivery, having supplied niche resources to some of the most high profile Oracle projects in Europe. In 2012, Jan single handedly brought in and developed a two-million pound revenue client from scratch leading to his promotion as the Oracle Team Leader. More recently Jan has taken on the SAP team heading up the ERP verticals in the UK and Europe. Favourite thing about working at Square One The people and the values we represent.
13 Oana Etcu Senior Consultant, Netherlands Joined Square One January 2012 About Oana Oana joined Square One without a recruitment background, however after attending the Sales Training through Square One, Oana proved herself to be a valuable member of the team with consistantly high billing in some of Europe s largest companies. Favourite thing about working for Square One The freedom to choose the area you want to thrive in, when you are passionate about what you do, you cannot help but become successful. Daniella Aristides Senior Consultant Digital and Technology Joined Square One November 2011 About Daniella After joining in 2011 as a trainee consultant and undertaking the Sales Training offered by Square One, Daniella generated some fantastic billing results and hit two car targets in one year! As a result of her success she was promoted to a Senior Consultant and continues to be a high biller for Square One. Favourite thing about working at Square One At Square One you truly feel part of a team and are recognised and rewarded for the hard work you put in.
14 HR Manager Lauren Clough Joined Square One August 2012 About Lauren Lauren started at Square One as a Senior HR Advisor and proved her passion and skill in Human Resources, by introducing new incentives, enhancing training schemes and compiling new retention plans. In October 2013 she was rewarded for her efforts and promoted to HR Manager. She continues to be responsible for employee welfare by running projects to raise engagement levels in the business. Favourite thing about working at Square One Having the freedom to be creative in my role. The future belongs to the curious! Adam Preston 1st Line Support Analyst Joined Square One January 2013 About Adam Joining as an Apprentice in 2013, Adam excelled in his position as a 1st Line Support Analyst, travelling to both the Poland and Netherlands offices in his first year with us. He has been nominated for the Operations Person of Disinction award 8 times and has won it twice since joining. After completion of his apprenticeship Adam was made a permenant member of the Square One team. Favourite thing about working at Square One The positive atmosphere and friendly staff attitude.
