4 A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR Optimal Solution is committed to world class engineering as we build our country hand in hand in anticipation of the 2022 World Cup. In light of the way Qatari urban development has been evolving in recent years and the increasing focus on safety, we took the initiative in establishing an independent firefighting and life safety company, Optimal Solution Trading and Contracting W.L.L. In 2012, we signed a partnership agreement with one of the top fire protection engineering companies operating in the MEA region, which has an excellent reputation in firefighting installations and a long history of professional workmanship and high safety standards. In cooperation with our partner UNISAFE International, our goal is to be a valuable supplier of fire protection systems and a market leader in firefighting installations in Qatar. Customer satisfaction is what we aim for with quality results as our end-product. We strive towards our goal through innovative use our of skills, knowledge, technology, teamwork, and effective communication with both our suppliers and end users. We continuously seek to create a professional and customer oriented work environment for our clients. Optimal Solution follows Unisafe s successful operational platform in various countries across Africa and the Middle East, with the aim of becoming a leader in the fire protection business in Qatar. Our fire protection systems are programmed to respond immediately to any sign of fire, ensuring the maximum safety of people and property. Using a powerful hazard analysis tool coupled with a fire alarm network and suppression systems, we install cutting edge complete fire protection systems for properties of all types ranging from factories and power stations to hotels, commercial and public buildings. Optimal Solution constantly seeks the most up-to-date innovations in fire protection technology to provide the highest quality fire prevention and safety equipment for your business. We install fire alarm systems, wet pipe, deluge, pre-action and foam sprinkler systems, water-mist sprinkler systems tailored by Danfoss, Semco A/S of Denmark and environmentally and human friendly clean agent suppression systems FM-200, Novec, CO 2, Argon and Inergen manufactured by one of the world s leading fire suppression companies. All of our system components follow international fire design codes and installation policies mandated by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Qatar local fire codes set by Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD). Following the NFPA code guarantees that our company is up to date with technological advances in the fire protection industry. It also ensures that our design, installation, maintenance and operations divisions follow strict guidelines from the start till the handover of projects, as well as ensuring that the final output complies with clients and consultants requirements. 04 Optimal Solution Optimal Solution 05

6 OUR DESIGN PROCESS INSTALLATION Working with existing or new infrastructure, our design process enables us to update or replace any existing fire protection system, effectively addressing fire hazard concerns in all areas. There are four key elements to our design process. At Optimal Solution, fire protection is our business. Our professional workmanship ensures we follow a strict well-reputed standard for installation. 1 INITIAL CONSULTATION A number of system types exist on the market ranging from sprinklers to clean agent systems each with a specific function. We work with our clients to determine what type of system is a better fit for their establishment, based on commercial and environmental fire hazard protection requirements and in accordance with local codes. 3 TECHNICAL ENGINEERING Our design engineers are highly trained individuals who can devise solutions that are both functional and aesthetic. Design is an important facet of the overall fire protection process, and must take into account building use, NFPA & QCDD standards and the needs of clients in order to be both functional and effective. Our operations in the fire protection industry include a commitment to continuous training for all our employees and a dedication to meeting all codes governing the installation and testing of fire protection systems. In addition, we are also committed to applying our own strict company regulations that meet and exceed the industry standards. Start-up operations, require an experienced and trained workforce, our Start-up and project execution experience has been developed over many years allowing us to achieve successful commissioning and start-up prior to a project s handover. Our commitment to a highly trained workforce allows us to guarantee a safe and smooth operation for our clients and consultants alike. 2 PROGRAMMING & CALCULATION HASS With this software, hydraulic analysis is performed in accordance with NFPA Code. COOSA The gas suppression analyzer, is a software used for the design and review of final total flooding fire suppression system calculation In addition to both programs, our partnership with our manufacturer has allowed us to use their server validated hydraulic calculation software for total flooding suppression using FM-200 and inert gas systems. 4 INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS NFPA codes and third party certification agencies cover the design, installation and testing of all types of fire protection systems and we are committed to ensuring that all of our systems are designed and built according to these codes and approved standards. Not only does this help ensure that a system is well designed, but that it carries the highest level of safety rating. The areas we cover after installation is completed: START UP & COMMISSIONING GUIDELINES Provide static and operational tests and reports. Provide verification reporting. Provide design, workshop and as-built drawing. Demonstrate system operation to the end user as per standars, codes and civil defence requirements. OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUALS A well indexed document identifying key system elements is presented to the client during the handing-over process. This document serves as a reference for the project detailing operations and control procedures as well as troubleshooting and emergency procedures in addition to preventative maintenance and repair guidelines. ON-SITE SUPPORT We provide continuous on-site suport for projects that are complex. 7 MAINTENANCE Proper maintenance is a key element for any mechanical or electrical component and is one of the most important services that we offer at Optimal Solution. As we document every step of our installation process, we are effectively able to trace the source of any problem should it ever arise. Each of our systems also come with an independent maintenance contract which ensure they function safely and reliably throughout their lifetime. OUR MAINTENANCE SERVICES CAPABILITIES Inspection, monitoring, analysis and repair. Managing planned shutdown maintenance. Fast and timely response to breakdowns. Upgrading and revamping components in existing systems. In addition, we are always available for troubleshooting questions and inquiries in order to detect a system failure long before it becomes an issue.
