13 Industrial Fire Brigade Live Fire Training Who Must Be Trained? Individuals who are assigned or by job description required to respond to, react to, or who otherwise perform fire suppression activities in the industrial setting. All members of an Industrial Fire Brigade or an Emergency Response Team who have fire suppression duties. Frequency of Training: (8 hour class) Each member must perform a minimum of eight (8) hours live fire refresher training annually. Regulatory Reference: OSHA 29 CFR Consensus Standards References: National Fire Protection Association NFPA 600; NFPA 1081
14 Suggested Training Objectives: Training will conform to the appropriate level of response to which the student(s) is/are assigned. Training will be customized to address the duties and job performance requirements of: Incipient Industrial Fire Brigade Members Advanced Exterior Industrial Fire Brigade Members Interior Structural Industrial Fire Brigade Members Industrial Fire Brigade Leaders
