2 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1 Need an account? What should I do if I don t have an online account? Click Setup Online Account and choose Find Me or Create New Account. Select Find Me if you are or have been a member of the Metro Atlanta YMCA. Select Create New Account if you have never been a member of the Metro Atlanta YMCA. 2 Have an online account? Can t login? If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password link to recover it. Remember only one account per household. Usually the Head of Household is the account holder. If an account is already created for your household, obtain the address and password from the head of household. Verify that the and password are correct. 3 Browse program offerings BEFORE logging in When I find the classes I want will I lose my selections when I login? To save your selections, click Log in and register for the classes checked below to continue with registration. You will be directed to the log in page. Once you sign in, you will continue with the registration process with the classes you selected. 4 My Current Enrollments Where can I verify my wait list status? If I leave the registration process, how do I find the items I ve placed in my shopping cart? What should I do if I forgot my password? 5 5 View Shopping Cart 6 I forgot my password Click the My Current Enrollments menu item. Click the View Shopping Cart menu item. Enter address and click I forgot my password. Enter security question and check the E- mail account you entered for the password. 2

4 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1b Setup online access to your existing YMCA account. How do I find my Person ID? Cannot create online account. Did you recently move to a different zip code and did not update your information at your YMCA home branch? Have you gotten married since joining the YMCA? Have you recently completed a change form at your home branch? The birth date field is not formatting my birth date. Where is the receipt number located? If you don t know your Person ID, locate your ID number on your membership card. It can be found on the left side of your membership card under your name. To see a picture of where to find this, click on the What s this? hyperlink next to the Person ID field. If you are using a key fob ID card, contact a branch staff person for assistance in finding your Person ID. Verify the birth date in SPIRIT. You must come into the branch and fill out a change form to update your address information. You must come into the branch and fill out a change form to update your information. If yes, the information may not be updated in our system yet. Make sure you have entered a two-digit month, day and a four-digit year e.g., 12/22/1982. The receipt number, also known as the receipt ID, is found on the top right portion of your receipt. 1c I think we ve found your household. My household was not found. Search for the household information in SPIRIT. For Front Desk staff, use the search icon on the View Front Desk page. For all other staff, search via the Contact Search page. NOTE: During conversion, an N/A Person contact record was created with a birth date of 07/04/1776 for households without an adult. This will result in a member not being able to find their existing account. Verify the member s birth date in SPIRIT.

6 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1d Create your login information and 1e Create a New Account How many characters does my password have to be? Your password must be 6-10 characters and can contain letters and numbers. Is my password case-sensitive? Is my challenge phrase case-sensitive? Yes, the password is case-sensitive. No, the challenge phrase is not case-sensitive, but it must be spelled exactly how it was entered.

8 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1f Create a New Account (Choose a home branch) How should I select my home branch? Can I make payments at branches other than my home branch? Can I register for program offerings at branches other than my home branch? Can I pay an invoice online? Your home branch should be convenient either from home or work. During your involvement with the YMCA, you may need to make changes to your account or membership that can only be completed by going to the branch. You can only make these changes at your home branch. Yes! You can make a payment at any Metro Atlanta YMCA branch. Yes! You can register for any program, from any branch. Yes! As soon as you log in, any unpaid invoices will be displayed above the household information. Click in the blank field to the far right of the invoice you are paying and enter the payment amount.

10 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1g Create a New Account (Size of household) Who should be included in my household? You should include yourself and anyone living in your household that will be participating in a program(s) at the YMCA. 1h Create a New Account (Household Phone Numbers and Members) Do I need an emergency number? How should I enter my birth date? What is a Head of Household and why do I need one? Yes. If you do not have an emergency contact, enter your household number again and your name in the emergency name field. Make sure you have entered a two-digit month, day and a four-digit year e.g., 12/22/1982. The Head of Household is a member of the household, at least 18 years old, that is responsible for all payments incurred by the members of the household. Also, the head of household is the only person that can authorize changes to the account, cancel programs, or memberships. 10

12 Troubleshooting Tips SPIRIT Online Enrollment TROUBLESHOOT RESOLUTION 1i Create a New Account (Household Address) Can I enter the street name and street number in the same field? The zip code I entered is bringing up the wrong city. How should I change this? No, you must enter the street name and the street number in the appropriate fields. The zip codes online are received from the U.S. Postal Service. Once the postal service updates its records, we will update ours. 12
