1 10th 2nd Announcement of the International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection
2 2nd Announcement of the Estoril is a coastal town 27 kilometres west of Lisbon. It is a cosmopolitan suburb of the Portuguese capital and belongs to one of the richest municipalities in Portugal, Cascais. One of the most beautiful parts of the Estoril Coast is the countryside - a succession of hills dotted with pine trees and houses, sweeping down to the sea. Apart from the usual country side scenery, the visitor will also enjoy seeing the local villages with their typical houses and the old palatial villas along the sea front and the following historic places: Castro Guimarães Museum and Sea Museum, the 18th century churches of Nossa Senhora da Assunção and Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes; the chapels of Nossa Senhora da Guia (15th century) and São Sebastião (16th 17th-centuries) and the 17th century fortress. Just a few minutes away lies Guincho beach (a great place for those who enjoy surfing and windsurfing)
