We complement each other perfectly and have now turned two successful companies into one that is even more effective. EDV-Planungs- und Handels GmbH this summer, the merger was enacted under corporate law by incorporating Bavaria Banken Software GmbH into CPB Software AG. With this move, approximately 73% of CPB SOFTWARE AG is now owned by the board members, almost 13% by the managing directors of the German and Austria companies, and the rest of the company is held by 13 employees. Consolidating a top position among service providers for banks and government authorities CPB SOFTWARE AG enjoys great success across Europe as an experienced partner for the manufacture, support, and further development of complete bank, bank front-end and e- banking solutions, as well as project work for government agencies and service providers, and other areas, such as traffic telematics. The company operates two data centers in Vienna and offers a comprehensive range of processing facilities for banks. The central focus of Bavaria Banken Software GmbH s offering is the standardized complete banking system suitable for use worldwide, which it has developed in cooperation with renowned banks. This merger will allow CPB SOFTWARE AG to further strengthen and sustainably expand its existing market position as a full-service provider. Customers benefit from an extended range of services and enhanced capabilities Now expanded by the capacities of Bavaria Banken Software GmbH, the enlarged CPB Software group now serves an even greater circle of internationally renowned companies with its now 190 employees. The concentrated expertise, extensive market knowledge, and the addition of an additional office in Munich (previously the company had three locations, two in Vienna, and one in Miltenberg near Frankfurt) form an excellent basis to continue the two companies successful path as one. Following on from the successful takeover of Vienna-based IT services provider PL.O.T in summer 2015, this further enlargement to our scope of services and the additional capacities acquired give us new, exciting ways to delight our customers with attractive and valuable solutions.
