Featured Faculty: Jon Almquist, ATC, VATL, ITAT: Jon Almquist served the Fairfax County Public Schools System in Virginia as an athletic trainer, teacher, and administrator for more than 30 years. Dedicated to addressing and reducing sports-related concussion, Almquist has improved athletic training through his research and instruction. He has been the lead developer of concussion protocols & online education programs. He is an ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT) and instructor for ImPACT.
