2 C9 CASEGOODS Our engineers were challenged to develop a casegoods line that would be attractive, durable and a great value for the money. Thus the C9 line was born and has been meeting that challenge for almost a decade at hundreds of residential settings in the higher education, federal, camp, park and medical treatment facilities. Built using hardwood plywoods as a primary construction material, C9 casegoods resist splitting and cracking due to humidity changes and offer outstanding dimensional stability. A hardwood dowel and glue assembly as well as the 1/2 thick backs were chosen for their durability, prevention of racking, and joinery strength. Due to the proven structural integrity of the C9 line, it was a natural choice for the University of Cincinnati to base their C9 Space Saver (shown to the left) design upon. The tiered cell construction method used for the C9 cabinets dramatically improves the overall performance of the drawers for many years. 4 CS CASEGOODS After several years of research, feedback and consultation with professionals in the field of mental health and developmentally disabled, we have produced the CS line of casegoods that focuses on safety as well as comforting aesthetics. Northern Red Oak construction, non removable drawers, J-bars and 270 piano hinges provide the end user a warm and durable product that performs time and time again. 5 SPARTAN CASEGOODS Designed in conjunction with York College of Pennsylvania, the Spartan line of casegoods considers the needs of the young scholar as well as the maintenance crew. Easy to maintain, and highly durable, Spartan casegoods are built using hardwood plywoods as a primary construction material which resist splitting and cracking due to humidity changes. These plywoods offer outstanding dimensional stability. A hardwood dowel and glue assembly as well as the 1/2 thick backs were chosen for their durability, prevention of racking, and joinery strength. The tiered cell construction method used for the Spartan cabinets dramatically improves the overall performance of the drawers for many years. The half moon pulls add design interest while avoiding missing hardware issues. Built with increased structural integrity, fixed shelves and hidden, tamper-resistant hardware, this line provides the end user with a warm and extremely safe furniture option. Oak plywood backs allow for securing the units to walls, as well as offering bolt down and restraining slot options for the Captain s beds. Sloped tops on all the storage units eliminate the hiding of contraband while the UV finish provides a healthy easy-toclean and maintain surface. 8 BEDS No matter the situation, from bunk beds to bolted down Captain s beds, we have your sleeping quarters covered. The 2½ square wood posts are manufactured from solid northern hardwoods delivering durability and strength while the eased edges create a smooth and splinter free surface. The spring units are designed with steel O tubing versus the traditional L shaped rails to increase structural integrity and insure there are no exposed sharp edges. All metal attachments are welded, no riviting is permitted, assuring maximum performance over time and use. Our Captain s beds are engineered with two center ¾ hardwood plywood partitions that extend full length and have been factory tested to hold over 1500 static pounds.
