Designed with a 4.5 frame depth, the Series 670 can be directly mulled to most of Western Window Systems product lines such as hinged doors, sliding doors, and fixed window walls. This male/female mulling feature is unique in aluminum fenestration products and eliminates the need for operable inserts while maximizing glass and narrowing sight lines. For improved water performance, the Series 670 includes a sloped sill. Screens, which come standard, are manufactured from extruded aluminum and include a concealed clip system. These enhancements increase durability, ease of operation, and complement the window s clean, contemporary appearance. 8 Hardware durability and performance For optimum durability and performance, Western Window Systems uses only stainless steel hardware for the Series 670. Hardware finishes are painted to match the color of the window frame. Glass dual-glazed, low-e The Series 670 features dual-paned, low-e glass manufactured using warm edge thermoplastic spacer (TPS) technology. This spacer system not only improves the energy efficiency and flexibility of the glass, but also is one of the most environmentally friendly solutions in the industry. 9 Thermal Break advanced energy efficiency A thermal break, or insulating barrier, is standard on the frames and sashes of all Series 670 Windows. This barrier limits condensation, lowers U-factors, increases energy performance, and reduces thermal conductivity.
