4 EXTREME DENSITY 3480/3490 & 9840 New Redesigned Pac supports 9840 storage EDP s Extreme Density system stores 3480/3490 (as well as the new 20 GB 9840 cartridges) utilizing the AutoExtreme Twenty Pac that surrounds and protects cartridges. Stationary base racks can be configured in rows within your library. The Mobile Aisle system moves on rails for maximum space and time efficiency. 4 Auto-Extreme Twenty-Pac EDP s Triple Track system offers the highest density storage for active open rack/slider libraries. Triple Track allows data centers the unique ability to go one, two, and three sliders deep. Each rack is loaded with our patented, removable Auto Extreme Pac, making library reconfigurations 20 times faster. Each Auto Extreme Pac is equipped with a high-impact polystyrene and feature Derlin springs.

11 Media Identification EDP LABELS FEATURE: Highest resolution laser-quality bar codes which are verified and certified for fast, accurate, and 100% machine readability Protective film layer to ensure long term, accurate scanning Available in the standard 3 of 9 code or other ATL modified bar codes Available in numeric, alpha, and alphanumeric sequences Computer Generated Tri-Optic Labels EDP s Tri-Optic labels utilize computer generated printing to put the largest alpha and numeric characters precisely in the center of the label for perfect horizontal and vertical alignment. Each label features a strong, double-sided, acrylic-based adhesive which resists peeling once bonded. A (1) mil thick overlaminate decreases UV discoloration & smudging, while preventing tearing and providing an easy-to-read label surface. COLOR CODING Color Coding is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve existing filing systems. When color is used in conjunction with alpha and numeric characters, tape identification and retrieval accelerates up to 50% faster. EDP s color coding systems are flexible, easy to implement and very cost effective. Color coding offers many advantages including reducing retrieval and filing time, improving read time, and increasing efficiency.
