3 KI s 800 Series lateral filing and storage represents the most advanced system of its kind available. Manufactured in the UK utilising state of the art automated technology, KI 800 Series is compatible both aesthetically and dimensionally with the world proven KI 700 Series system. Existing KI 700 Series customers may therefore take full advantage of the new system. The KI 800 Series range is a comprehensive storage system of lateral drawer, receding door, cupboard, locker and shelving units with many new features. The new 1100mm width provides the filing density and flexibility benefits of the existing KI 700 Series 1067mm width yet on a more useful metric dimension for space planning and workstation modularity. The 457mm depth on all widths provides the optimum filing densities on the footprint and compatibility with KI 700 Series. 7 Maximising filing density whilst minimising the required floor space is the key to storage delivering a significant impact productivity and profitability. KI 800 Series features the introduction of a brand new 1100mm wide unit. An 1100mm wide drawer storing three rows of A4 media front-to-back will provide 1.2 linear metres of capacity, over 30% greater than an equivalent 1000mm drawer with a row of side-to-side filing. Therefore this offers significant savings in both capital expenditure (the number of cabinets required) and real estate costs (the floorspace required for storage). Instead of requiring 100 cabinets only 70 will be needed. With the KI 800 Series combinations of standard A4 media types such as binders, suspension files and document wallets can all be stored in three rows frontto-back maximising the potential for increased file density whilst saving cost by utilising existing media. KI 800 Series features new magnetic backed dividers which make the storage of binders spine upwards even easier to manage in daily use therefore achieving a workable and space efficient option. A newly designed 3-row front-to-back A4 file bar provides fully independent movement for each row of A4 suspension file pockets. Full height sides and a raised back increase the versatility of drawers as a highly popular flexible filing and general storage option. A drawer will accommodate any proprietary media types whether A4, Foolscap, Letter or Legal sizes and any manner of miscellaneous items and personal storage.
