A free-standing, yet elegantly simple, garage structure allows LOGICwork storage elements and work surfaces to be parked or attached to various locations. LOGICwork designers, while focused on function and flexibility, developed a sleek, transitional series that is also pleasing to the eye. The work surface incorporates an eased edge detail creating a contemporary sense of lightness. LOGICwork s modernist aesthetic can be adapted to meet a multitude of tastes. Organizations today demand an officing series that can be specified for a wide range of office sizes and users from ever smaller administrative work stations, mid-management spaces to executive offices. Casegood series must not only be configured to meet these space requirements, but also satisfy the personal needs of the user and convey the appropriate hierarchy and culture. To meet these requirements, LOGICwork incorporates multiple veneer and wood finish options, two metal finish colors, metal and wood pedestals and drawer and door fronts available in metal, wood or acrylic. LOGICwork s open architecture and wire management channels allow electrical and data wiring to move directly and simply from the work surface to their outlets. Pedestals are recessed from the wall so they will never block data or electrical outlets. Electrical and data connections are also available at the work surface itself. Flat panel monitors can be mounted directly to the garage columns. Even with the pervasive use of computer technology, workers manage an ever increasing amount of paper. LOGICwork acknowledges the need to provide active paper storage or more simply put; to accommodate piles of paper. All work surfaces are suspended 2½ inches above storage units and vertical cabinets incorporate an identical 2½ inch reveal for paper storage. LOGICwork also offers paper trays that can be moved around the user s work space and then stored in housings attached to a variety of locations. Metal paper shelves can also be mounted to the garage columns. The companion LOGICmeet Conference Series offers tables and support components for a variety of meeting requirements and locations. Various table shapes are available in wood, acrylics or laminates and in custom sizes. With the addition of LOGICwork and LOGICmeet, HBF can satisfy the private office and conferencing needs of virtually any client. 3 T H E L O G I C w o r k G A R A G E : A F R E E S T A N D I N G S U P P O R T S O L U T I O N The LOGICwork garage is a robust, aluminum structure that supports overheads and work surface components and paper management accessories. The garage is constructed of two vertical columns and one horizontal beam. These extruded components have been independently tested to support tremendous loads without the need to be attached to the office walls. The structure can therefore be easily moved from wall to wall or office to office without requiring extensive installation procedures or wall repair. To accommodate various office sizes and work wall usage requirements, the garage beam is specified in eight different widths. The beam can overhang the vertical columns by 18, 30 or 36 inches or can be mounted flush. The entire garage structure may be reconfigured as the beam is machined to allow the vertical columns to be moved in the field to change overhang dimensions. This range of widths and overhang combinations creates a total of 87 different garage configurations. Illustrated below is a sample of various LOGICwork components that can be attached to the garage structure. The series also offers free standing desks, credenzas and tables.

4 T W O U S E R W O R K S T A T I O N The configuration flexibility of the LOGICwork garage system allows the designer to specify various multiple user layouts. Return work surfaces attach directly to the primary work surface and are supported by pedestals or an aluminum leg system. All powder coat metal finishes shown are satin pewter. Double and single high overheads are offered open or with doors. Tack panels can be independently mounted in any or in all (as pictured) of the three spaces created by the garage structure. 01 LOGICmeet tables are offered with casters or fixed feet. Tops are constructed of wood, solid acrylics or laminates.

Desk extensions are also available in rectangular and arched boat forms and in various widths and lengths. Work surfaces can be selected in numerous widths to maximize the useable work surface in smaller offices. Removable access panels and overhead backs are available in wood or in two melamine colors to assist in meeting limited office budgets. 08 Drawer fronts are available in three veneer options, acrylic or metal.

This office utilizes satin pewter metal pedestals and garage, HBF Ligno-Grain veneers and acrylic flipper doors on the overhead.

14 T H E E X E C U T I V E O F F I C E This elegant and timeless transitional executive office was created with a satin bronze garage combined with HBF Ligno-Grain veneers finished in HBF Medium Walnut. The centerpiece of the office is a double pedestal desk utilizing an arc shaped top. This configuration offers the user multiple paper management and display options. 11 Satin pewter paper management shelves cradle documents in a soft curve of metal. The unique arc shaped desk top creates a cockpit effect for the executive user.

This contemporary configuration utilizes a single pedestal desk with an arched boat top. Paper management shelves are mounted on the inboard and outboard sides of the garage vertical column. The housing for the three moveable paper management trays can be mounted beneath the garage or under a work surface. 13 Wood paper management trays are offered in satin pewter and satin bronze painted finishes. Rectangular grommets are also available.

20 R E C E P T I O N O P T I O N S Stunning reception areas can be created with LOGICwork reception components. Receptions desks have curved or straight fronts, one or two returns and multiple pedestals. Wood or acrylic transaction tops are suspended above U-shaped or C-shaped configurations.
