The Venue The region is situated in the so-called Turkish Riviera, full of must see sites only a few steps away from the competition areas. Breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea await competitors as they run through forests of varying visibility, amongst ancient ruins dating back to 500 BC. The region was once the home of many civilizations from the Lycians, the Greek, the Romans and the Byzantine era up to the Seljuk Turks and the Ottomans. man walked more than 2500 years ago. The Event Centre The Event Center is the Grand Haber Hotel in Kemer. This all inclusive 5 star hotel offers rooms at very reasonable prices including all meals. Antalya O Days participants may acquire these at 2 EUR per map at the Event Center. 5. Classes and Entry Regulations Classes for Antalya O Days are: M/W10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21E, 21A, 21B, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70+, Open S, Open L The competition the entry fee is 15 per day, 50 for all 4 days. 5 6. Terrain & Courses Training Areas: Two training areas have been reserved for the event. Olympos, previously announced in Bulletin 2 as the region for the 1 st stage of Antalya O Days, has been allocated as one of the training areas with its low visibility and historical ruins. This will give the opportunity to have a good run, then visit the antique city of Olympos. The second training area is Çakırlar, 41 km north of the Event Center. The terrain here is very similar to what one might expect during the following days. Training at Olympos Training at Çakırlar Antalya O Days Stage 1: Beycik Middle Distance Beycik will host the 1 st stage of Antalya O days instead of Olympos, as announced in Bulletin 2. 6 WCup Model Event: Phaselis North This terrain will not only give you a chance of running in similar terrain as the Qualification and the Final but will also give you the chance of some breathtaking views of the dazzling Mediterranean Sea. After your run you may take a swim or sunbathe on the beach at the start of this area. There are many ancient graves in this area which are not mapped. WCup Model Event at Phaselis North World Cup Event 1 Qualification Antalya O Days Stage 2 Tekirova Middle Distance The terrain is stony with varying visibility. Steep rocky slopes may challenge your pace. World Cup Event 1 Final Antalya O Days Stage 3 Phaselis Middle Distance The terrain is stony with varying visibility. You will be running among the ruins of what was once the most glamorous harbours on the Mediterranean coast. Tekirova Sprint Relay World Cup Event 1 Antalya O Days Stage 4 Kemer Sprint Typical urban sprint race with a mixture of parks and narrow streets. Traffic will be slowed down but not restricted. 9 9. Punching System The SportIdent punching system will be used for the Antalya O Days Competitions. Start stations will not be used in any of the competitions. It is the competitor s responsibility to be at the start at his/her start time announced on the start lists. 10. Payment Final entry deadline is: 15 February 2014 Entry fees must be paid before 15 February Please note that it is the entrants responsibility to add possible bank charges to the payments. An on-line payment system will be available on our website very soon. Registrations should be made via the registration pages at Travel and Transport Antalya is the nearest international airport to the competition area. Many countries have direct economic flights to Antalya. Kemer is 44 km from Antalya airport and 35 km from Antalya city center. From the airport it is possible to take the HAVAS shuttle bus to the main bus station in Antalya. There are many public buses from the Main Bus Station to Kemer (the Event Center). and from Kemer there are very frequent means of transport to neighbouring sites such as Çıralı, Tekirova, Olympos. Groups with 10 or more participants may request transfer from the airport to the Event Center. The price for this is 5 per person. Transportation to competition venues will be arranged by the organizer. Official transfer from Event Center to and from Competition areas is 30 per person for all days including transfer to the training sites. 12. Visa Some countries require a visa for Turkey. For more information please check the website Please note that it is also possible to obtain a visa at the airport before passing through passport control, or better still, on-line via the website where you can pay your fee on-line and avoid queues at the airport when you land.

Meals & Catering For participants staying at the Grand Haber Hotel, a packed lunch will be prepared free of charge upon request. Hot soup and local food (gözleme a traditional Turkish pancake, kebabs, etc) in addition to hot tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available at the competition areas at reasonable prices. Water will be available at the arena for all competitions. 15. Clothing Restrictions There are no formal clothing restrictions but full body cover is recommended for the Middle Distance events. 16. Weather & Climate At the end of February, one may expect temperatures to rise up to C during the day, dropping to no less than 10 C at night.
