All supporters are reminded that they will need to have the correct documentation for this trip. British citizens don t need a visa to travel to Italy, but your passport should be valid for the period of the outward and return journeys You should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before travelling to Italy, even if you're only going for one night - it could save you a lot of money if you find yourself in difficulty. Be careful not to lose your passport as you will need to travel to Milan for an Emergency Travel Document. If your passport is stolen report the loss to the local police as soon as possible and obtain a copy of the police report. Please be aware that you cannot travel back to the UK without a valid travel document. You will need to visit the British Consulate Milan on Thursday for an Emergency Travel Document. The Emergency Travel Document is a temporary one-way travel document which will allow you to return to the UK or back to your country of residence. You will need to produce the following: a copy of the police report reporting the passport stolen (this is not required for a lost passport); one passport-size photograph. There is a photo shop located 5-minutes from the Consulate a fee of 138 (payable in cash or by credit/debit card except American Express) Any details you may have of your return travel arrangements Authorisation from both parents if you are under 16 *the cost in euros varies according to the exchange rate Page 3
4 PERSONAL SECURITY As in any other city beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations (Stazione Ferroviaria), around the town centre and when using public transport. Only carry what you need, leave spare cash and valuable in hotel safety deposits. Take a photocopy of the personal details pages of your passport and keep it in a safe place separate from your passport. If travelling in a car, remember to always lock the vehicle and never leave valuables inside. Hire cars and foreign registered vehicles are more of a target. LOST WALLETS If you lose your wallet please try to cancel your credit cards as soon as possible. British consular officials cannot give you money to help you return home. You can transfer money from relatives or friends in the UK using many of the reputable commercial money transfer agencies in Italy. You can also use most major credit cards (and debit cards carrying the Maestro and EC logos) to obtain money from cash machines if you have your PIN. The British Consulate-General Milan can provide you with telephone and internet facilities during opening hours. IF YOU ARE ARRESTED British consular officials will aim to contact you as soon as possible after being told about your arrest, so that they can assess how they can help. They cannot get you out of prison, represent you in court or pay your bills. If you wish to contact a consular official please make this request clear to the local police authorities. Please ensure you keep the Supporter Liaison Officer updated at any time you speak to the British Consulate, or have to make use of any of the emergency numbers. Page 4
5 JUVENTUS STADIUM The address for Juventus Stadium is Corso Gaetano Scirea, 50, Torino, Italy. Juventus Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in the Vallette borough of Turin, Italy, and the home of Serie A club Juventus Football Club. The stadium was built on the site of Juventus's and Torino's former home the Stadio delle Alpi, and is one of only three club-owned football stadiums in Serie A, alongside Sassuolo's Mapei Stadium and Udinese's Stadio Friuli. It was opened at the start of the 2011/12 season and has a capacity of just over 41,000 spectators. The stands are just 7.5m from the pitch. The distance between the last row of the grand stand and the pitch is 49m. The stadium hosted the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final. LOCAL TRANSPORT Roads in Turin are organised on a grid system and the city is easy to navigate on foot, by bus/tram and metro. Tickets cost 1,50 obtainable mainly from newsagents and certain bars. They must be franked in the machine when you board any means of transport. The same ticket can be used for 90 minutes on buses and trams, but only once on the Metro. A one day ticket is available for 5,00 lasting 24 hours from the first franking. Local transport info is available at GETTING TO THE STADIUM Juventus Stadium can easily be reached by train from anywhere in Italy ( On arriving in Turin, from Porta Nuova and Porta Susa train stations, head to the dedicated shuttle buses that leave from the Bernini subway stop. From Porta Nuova and Porta Susa (underground stop: 18 Dicembre) take the underground in the direction of Fermi. Get off at Bernini, from where the shuttle bus 9/ will take you directly to the Juventus Stadium on matchdays. The last departure is 45 minutes after the end of the match. You can reach the Juventus Stadium by bus on the following lines: 62, 72, 75, VE1 (weekdays) and 9 (only on matchdays). MEETING POINT AND BUS SERVICE Turin Police have requested that on matchday Manchester City supporters make their way to a dedicated meeting point in the Parco del Valentino just off the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and close to the Umberto I bridge over the River Po. The meeting point is very close to the main Porta Nuova railway station and the Club have been advised that there are several bars in the area where visiting supporters are welcomed. A municipal bus service will be available to transfer supporters from the meeting point directly to the stadium. The Club have been advised that supporters can arrive from 5:30pm (local time) and that buses would move off in a convoy of four buses at a time. Please note: this operation is managed by Turin police, the timings and operation are subject to change at their discretion, on the day. The shopping mall adjacent to the stadium (near to Gate D) will be open on match night, up to 9pm (local time). Page 5
6 MINIMISE THE RISK Consider the impact of wearing club colours when not inside the stadium In Italy is obligatory to carry an ID document at all times. Carry a note of the address of your hotel (in both English and Italian) it can help people give you directions and ensure that taxi drivers know where you want to go. Keep the number of valuables you carry to a minimum - passport, a credit card, your phone and some money - and ensure they are secured (not in your back pocket). Change money at a bank, hotel, or in exchange kiosks NOT on the street Carry the contact number for your travel insurer at all times. Carry the address and telephone number of the Consulate-General so you can call for help. Leave a copy of your passport and other important documents safe in your hotel in case you lose the originals. Do not carry weapons of any sort, you may get you arrested. As in any other city beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations, around the town centre and when using public transport. Only carry what you need, leave spare cash and valuables in hotel safety deposits. Don t commit acts of theft: you are more likely to be locked up rather than fined or deported. The temperature is expected to be cool with sunny intervals with an average low of 4 C and average high of 15 C. The local time is 1-hour ahead of the UK, and the local currency is Euros. Supporters can also find additional security and travel information as well as areas travellers are advised to not visit on the foreign office website, and follow, Travel Advice - Italy. Page 6
7 AT JUVENTUS STADIUM Match Tickets: Stadium Access: Italian bylaws dictate each ticket must have been registered and used by the supporter who has purchased it. Following the purchase of your ticket, all supporter details have been passed to Juventus. Your name was written on the back of their ticket, and this will need to match the details on your passport (which you will need with you on the day) in order for you to gain entry to the Juventus Stadium. If the information you provided does not match that on your passport or your ticket, you are at risk of not being allowed to enter the stadium. Please arrive in plenty of time as the security checks may take some time to complete. Manchester City supporters located in the North-East corner of the stadium, seated in sector 110 (lower tier) and sectors 211 and 212 (upper tier). Each tier is a self-contained area (you cannot move between the upper and lower tiers) with segregation barriers consisting of 3-meter high reinforced glass screens. Access is gained via a secure gate compound at Gate E, which is approached from Via Druento. Turnstiles open at 6:45pm (local time). All supporters must be inside the stadium no later than 45-minutes before kick-off (8:45pm local time). Once inside the gated compound, supporters will move to one of two entry points one for the upper tier and one for the lower tier seats. At the entry point to each section there will first be a ticket check by Juventus stewards, after which you will move forward for standard matchday searches. You will then pass through the two full-height entrance turnstiles in their respective section. Local police have stated that supporters will not be allowed in the stadium if: - You do not have a valid match ticket and/or identification - You have been prohibited from attending sports events in the past - You are visibly drunk or under the effect of narcotics Any City supporters in the home areas of the Juventus Stadium face ejection for inappropriate behaviour and this may result in further sanctions being taken by Manchester City Football Club. Italian government has a zero tolerance policy regarding acts of hooliganism both inside and outside the stadium. It is an offence to: Possess any kind of weapon Display banners with logos of associations that encourage discrimination or violent racial conduct (ethnic, national or religious) Encourage violence during any event Possess, throw or otherwise use dangerous materials or pyrotechnics Climb fences and enter the pitch Please note: CCTV cameras are in operation both inside and outside the stadium Page 7

Access for disabled supporters is available via Gate E and then by a separate gate beside the actual turnstiles. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are provided. The stadium has been designed to ensure there are no steps anywhere along on the entire route from stadium entrance to the seating blocks. Category One: Match Programme: Food & Drink: Facilities: Luggage: Acceptable items: Prohibited items: Respect the Badge: Located in Block 216, upper tier of the East Stand. Access is via Gate D on the East side of the stadium. There will be no match programme produced for this fixture. Through the turnstiles there is a refreshment unit. Male, female and disabled toilets are situated near to the seating blocks. There is no area to leave luggage so please make alternative arrangements at your hotel or coaches as it will not be permitted in to the stadium. Flags or banners (excluding poles) subject to size, language and content Small bags and backpacks; content will checked upon entry Small cameras for private use only Coins, belts with buckles and cigarette lighters are not permitted into the stadium. No megaphones and drums No pyrotechnics, smoke bombs or flares Professional audio or visual recording equipment No bottles or can will be allowed in to the stadium Alcohol is banned within the stadium: it is an offence to be under the influence of drink and drugs when you enter the stadium. Discretion lies with the Juventus stewards as to who is deemed a safety risk, so please drink sensibly or you may face the possibility of not being allowed to enter the arena. Manchester City Football Club is proud to have the best fans in the world and with your help we plan to keep it that way. As guardians of this great Club, and a legacy that spans more than 130 years, we all have a responsibility to act as ambassadors of not only Manchester City, but also the City of Manchester. We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not to listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour which includes, shouting, chanting or actions such as racist, sectarian, homophobic, sexist or antidisability behaviour is unacceptable. If you witness incidents like these please get in contact with a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns, this will help us to act on them as quickly as possible. You can also alert the Supporter Liaison Officer by slo@mcfc.co.uk or by mobile, +44 (0) Page 8
9 The use of pyrotechnics, flares and smoke bombs is also prohibited and anyone found in possession of or being associated to these items faces arrest. Kick it Out: The Kick It Out' app provides news updates on the campaign s latest projects, but its most prominent feature is the Report It! function which empowers people at all levels of the game to report incidents of discrimination. We are proud to support this campaign. The Kick It Out football fans guide to reporting abuse and discrimination can be found here or download the app today. Football v Homophobia In 2008, the Justin Campaign was formed to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in football, and two years later the initiative FvH began. In supporting FvH, you are not only helping to make football a more inclusive and welcoming environment, you are also playing your part in making the society we live in a better place for everyone. Find out more and how you can take action here. The local police have advised that all supporters arrive at the stadium by 7:00pm (local time), as the security checks at the entrance may take some time. Anyone not in the stadium by 8:00pm (local time) may not be allowed access and may be required to wait for 20-minutes after kick off before being allowed entry (if at all). Page 9
10 POST-MATCH We have been advised there will be a hold back for approx minutes, although this may be extended until the local police confirm it is safe to leave the stadium. Upon confirmation that you can leave the stadium, this will comprise of a 3-phase process: (i) (ii) (iii) supporters will initially be held back in the seating area (with access to the toilets available); you will then be allowed to proceed up to the turnstile entrance / refreshment area; you will then be asked to move in to the secure gated compound. Once police are satisfied that MCFC supporters can safely leave the stadium for their onward journey, the municipal buses will leave from Gate E and return to the city centre meeting point. Please be patient and work with the Juventus Stewards and local police at this time. We have included a Juventus Stadium map which will assist with locating all the entrances on the day. You can also visit the Juventus website for further information on the club. We trust you have found this information useful. Should you require clarification or have any questions, please contact a member of the Supporter Services team on +44 (0) (option 1, 3) in advance of the match alternatively use the or mobile number provided within the guide, on matchday. We wish you a safe flight and look forward to seeing you in Italy. Lisa Eaton Supporter Liaison Officer Manchester City Football Club Page 10
