British citizens don t need a visa to travel to Spain but your passport should be valid for the period of the outward and return journeys You should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before travelling to Spain, even if you're only going for one night - it could save you a lot of money if you find yourself in difficulty. In Spain it is obligatory to carry an ID document at all times. You will need your passport for entry into the stadium for ticket identification purposes Be careful not to lose your passport as you will need to travel to Milan for an Emergency Travel Document. If your passport is stolen report the loss to the local police as soon as possible and obtain a copy of the police report. Please be aware that you cannot travel back to the UK without a valid travel document. You will need to apply to the Consular Section of the British Embassy Milan, during opening hours for an Emergency Travel Document. This will mean applying for an Emergency Travel Document at the British Consulate on the Thursday after the game. The Emergency Travel Document is a temporary one-way travel document which will allow you to return to the UK or back to your country of residence. You will need to produce the following: a copy of the police report reporting the passport stolen (this is not required for a lost passport); one passport-size photograph. There is a photo shop located 5-minutes from the Consulate a fee of 135 (payable in cash or by credit/debit card except American Express) Any details you may have of your return travel arrangements Authorisation from both parents if you are under 16 Page 3

4 PERSONAL SECURITY As in any other city beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations around the town centre and when using public transport. Only carry what you need, leave spare cash and valuables in hotel safety deposits. Carry a photocopy of the personal details pages of your passport and keep it in a safe place separate from your passport. If travelling in a car, remember to always lock the vehicle and never leave valuables inside. Hire cars and foreign registered vehicles are more of a target. LOST WALLETS If you lose your wallet please try to cancel your credit cards as soon as possible. British consular officials cannot give you money to help you return home. You can transfer money from relatives or friends in the UK using many of the reputable commercial money transfer agencies in Spain. You can also use most major credit cards (and debit cards carrying the Maestro and EC logos) to obtain money from cash machines if you have your PIN. The British Embassy Milan can provide you with telephone and internet facilities during opening hours. IF YOU ARE ARRESTED British consular officials will aim to contact you as soon as possible after being told about your arrest, so that they can assess how they can help. They cannot get you out of prison, represent you in court or pay your bills. If you wish to contact a consular official please make this request clear to the local police authorities. Please ensure you keep the Supporter Liaison Officer updated at any time you speak to the British Consulate, or have to make use of any of the emergency numbers. Page 4

5 RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ PIZJUÁN STADIUM The address for Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium is Calle Sevilla Fútbol Club s/n, Sevilla Sevilla play their home matches at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium, situated in the city centre. The stadium opened in 1958 and has undergone some refurbishment since then. The capacity of the stadium is 42,500. It is of a two-tier bowl design, with roof cover over the main West Stand only, and located a 20 minute walk away from the historic centre of Seville. GETTING TO THE STADIUM Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán is located in central Seville, walking distance from the city centre and the main railway station. The walk from the cathedral in Seville s historic centre (located west of the stadium) can be made in 20 minutes. From the main railway station, 10-minutes should be enough to reach the stadium on foot. Alternatively, one can take the metro to the stadium. Stations Nervión and Gran Plaza on Seville s only line 1 are closest to the stadium. These can be reached from Station P. Jerez, located in the south of the historic centre. Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium lies one block off Luis de Morales Avenue, which circles Seville s centre on its east. If arriving by car from Seville s ring road further east (A4), take one of the large avenues toward Seville s city centre, and, at approach of the centre, turn onto Luis de Morales. MEETING POINT & ESCORT TO THE STADIUM There are numerous bars and restaurants found in the streets around the Cathedral in Seville s historic centre. Local Police suggest that City supporters make their way to the designated meeting point in the Jardines de Murillo (Murillo Gardens) near to the Real Alcázar Castle for 6:15pm-6:30pm (local time). The police will escort supporters on a 20-minute walk along the main road (Eduardo Dato), which leads directly to the South entrance of the stadium. The bars around the North side of the stadium are to be avoided as the Seville Ultras will congregate in that area. If you choose not to join the police escort, please ensure that you arrive at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium no later than 7:15pm (local time) as the security checks and numbers of turnstiles available will impact the time taken to access and enter the stadium. MINIMISE THE RISK Consider the impact of wearing club colours when not inside the stadium Carry your passport at all times. Police conduct checks and want to see originals. Carry a note of the address of your hotel (in both English and Spanish) it can help people give you directions and ensure that taxi drivers know where you want to go. Keep the number of valuables you carry to a minimum - passport, a credit card, your phone and some money - and ensure they are secured (not in your back pocket). Change money at a bank, hotel, or in exchange kiosks NOT on the street Carry the contact number for your travel insurer at all times. Carry the address and telephone number of the Embassy so you can call for help. Leave a copy of your passport and other important documents safe in your hotel in case you lose the originals. Do not carry weapons of any sort, you may get you arrested. Page 5

The weather is expected to be light rain with an average low of 14 C and average high of 21 C. The local time is 1-hour ahead of the UK, and the local currency is Euros. 7 ARRIVING AT RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ PIZJUÁN STADIUM Arrival Time: Turnstiles are expected to open at 6:45pm (local time). Due to the security checks and number of turnstiles available, City supporters are advised to arrive at the stadium no later than 7:15pm (local time). The Club have been advised that supporters that arrive after this time are highly unlikely to be inside the stadium for kick-off. Please be patient with the local police and Sevilla stewards when you are waiting to enter the stadium and co-operate fully with any requests. Unreserved Seating: The tickets issued to Manchester City have reserved seat numbers printed on them; however, the Club have since been advised by the Spanish Police and the host club stewards that they operate an unreserved seating system. They will fill the upper tier seating first and start from the left hand side adjacent to the metal barrier. It should be noted that the upper tier seats and staircases are set on a very steep gradient. Once the upper tier is full they will then start to fill the lower tier seats, again from the lefthand barrier. There is no lift. The Club have advised both Sevilla FC and Seville Police that there will be a number of walking ambulant supporters that need to be seated on the lower tier. These supporters are to make themselves known on the night. MCFC stewards will be there to support but it must be noted that the Seville Police and Seville FC make the decisions on the night. Stadium Access: The MCFC ticket allocation is situated in the upper and lower tiers in the South East corner of the stadium. These are Blocks S46, S44 S38 and S36 (Upper Tier) and Block S24 (lower tier). Access is gained via entrance gates 10 or 12 and supporters then enter the ground through three half-height turnstiles at each of these two gates. Seville Police will use barriers to create a sterile area outside the visitors entrance. At the outer entrance to this sterile area there will be a first ticket check conducted by police. Inside the sterile area there will be searches performed by Seville stewards and then access control through the turnstiles at either of Gates 10 or 12. Local Police have stated that supporters will not be allowed in the stadium if: - You do not have a valid match ticket - You have been prohibited from attending sports events in the past - You are visibly drunk or under the effect of narcotics Once inside the stadium bowl, supporters will see that on one side the segregation line is a metal fence. On the other this will be marked by a line of Sevilla stewards, creating a sterile zone between Manchester City and Sevilla supporters. A number of seats will also be netted as part of the segregation requirements. Page 7

8 Any City supporters in the home areas of the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium face ejection for inappropriate behaviour and this may result in further sanctions being taken by Manchester City Football Club. There is a zero tolerance policy regarding acts of hooliganism both inside and outside the stadium. It is an offence to: Possess any kind of weapon Display banners with logos of associations that encourage discrimination or violent racial conduct (ethnic, national or religious) Encourage violence during any event Possess, throw or otherwise use dangerous materials or pyrotechnics Climb fences and enter the pitch Please note: CCTV cameras are in operation both inside and outside the stadium Facilities: There are limited toilet blocks on the upper tier concourse and nine (9) portacabin toilets situated on the lower tier concourse. Accessible Information: The wheelchair viewing platform is shared with home supporters just behind the lower tier of Block P15 (which is adjacent to the Category One seats in Block P13). The personal assistant is allocated a seat in the back row of the seats just in front of the platform. There is a separate access for wheelchair fans at Gate 26 on the West side of the stadium. Category One: Match Programme: Food & Drink: Luggage: Acceptable items: Prohibited items: Located in the main West Stand. These seats are in Block P13 in the lower tier. You can enter the stadium via gate 27 on the West side of the stadium. There will be no match programme produced for this fixture. There are refreshment units on both the upper and lower tier concourses. On the lower tier, entry to and from the stadium bowl is via two entry points but these are quite narrow just enough for one person to pass through at a time. There is no area to leave luggage so please make alternative arrangements at your hotel or coaches as it will not be permitted in to the stadium. Flags or banners (excluding poles) subject to size, language and content Small bags and backpacks; content will checked upon entry Small cameras for private use only No megaphones and drums No pyrotechnics, smoke bombs or flares Professional audio or visual recording equipment No bottles or can will be allowed in to the stadium Alcohol is banned within the stadium: it is an offence to be under the influence of drink and drugs when you enter the stadium. 9 Discretion lies with the Sevilla stewards and Local Police as to who is deemed a safety risk, so please drink sensibly or you may face the possibility of not being allowed to enter the arena. As guardians of this great Club, and a legacy that spans more than 130 years, we all have a responsibility to act as ambassadors of not only Manchester City, but also the City of Manchester. We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not to listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour which includes, shouting, chanting or actions such as racist, sectarian, homophobic, sexist or antidisability behaviour is unacceptable. If you witness incidents like these please get in contact with a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns, this will help us to act on them as quickly as possible. 10 POST-MATCH We have been advised there will be a hold back for supporters within both the away section and also Category One seating area. The decision of when supporters may leave the stadium lies solely with the local police. Toilet facilities will remain accessible. Please be patient and work with the local Police and Sevilla stewards at this time. We have included a Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium map which will assist with locating all the entrances on the day. 15 WALKING ROUTE TO STADIUM Jardins de Murilla The route to the stadium takes supporter over a bidge that leads dierctly to Eduardo Dato Avenue, which then leads from the East of the city to the South of the stadium. Supporters advise to take this route and avoid the North of of the stadium. Those with mobility issues can take a taxi from the City or the Metro. Page 15
