Position Title: Social Responsibility & Communications Manager Purpose Social responsibility and communications manager is a high-level manager who oversees the strategy and implementation of a governmental agency s social responsibility objectives. Social responsibility officers have many job responsibilities but the most critical include promoting SR vision, leading teams for the development of the strategy and policies regarding SR programs, boosting public image, promoting diversity within the organization, minimizing effects the governmental agency has on the environment and human rights, supporting initiatives that benefit the governmental agency and the community it serves. Social responsibility and communications manager also works with project teams of risk and compliance managers to ensure social responsibilities policies and best practices are in place to minimize risk to the public. Diversity is also a key component to his or her responsibilities as this area is critical to ensuring the governmental agency's workforce is open to all employees. Key Responsibilities planning overall strategy and system of continuous improvement for GA s SR initiatives promote SR vision and demonstrate value of SR for the GA, improve the awareness of SR across the GA manage relationships with a variety of media including tech, business, local, and vertical and across media types including blogs, online, print and broadcast leading teams for the development of the strategy and policies regarding SR programs, cross functional collaboration with all the GA s areas related to sustainability activities relationship development and participation on project teams in integrating SR actions into the overall project plan communication with various sustainability stakeholders promoting SR 3
4 promote responsible political involvement, fair competition practices and ethical decision making (i.e. procurements) identify and manage risk over the entire life cycle of a GA handle risk situations (i.e. political instability, extreme health challenges, culture of corruption) protect human rights (civil. political, economic, social, cultural) prohibition of discrimination (i.e. gender, age, national origin, religion, political affiliation, disability), promote diversity interpret fundamental rights laws and equal opportunities regulations for employees, promote diversity, determine required actions to meet equal opportunities measures receive equal opportunities complaints and handle disputes, provide support, fair treatment and advice to employees Requirements Experience Education 4-7 years of managerial/leadership experience in marketing/communications/ public relations corporate/public affairs human resources social responsibility a bachelor degree and/or a higher degree in the social sciences humanities management/human resources management marketing/communications 4

Position Title: Environmental Manager Purpose Environmental manager is responsible for overseeing the environmental performance of governmental agency. S/he also develops, implements and monitors environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote sustainable development. Environmental managers examine activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation across the governmental agency. Environmental manager has a wide remit and will review the whole operation, carrying out environmental audits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and acting as agents of change. An important element of the role is to ensure employees are trained at all levels and that the workforce recognizes their own contributions to improved environmental performance. 5
6 Key Responsibilities developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development planning overall strategy of continuous improvement for GA s environmental initiatives serving as a representative of the GA to a variety of external entities leading teams and departments for the development of the strategy and policies regarding GA s environmental programs developing social responsibility based on environmental affairs (protection and restoration of natural environment) planning for preventing pollution (i.e. emissions to air, discharges to water, the generation of solid or liquid waste, contamination of land and soils) promoting environmental education as fundamental for sustainable societies (i.e. using electricity, fuels, raw and processed materials, land and water more responsibly) managing project for sustainable resource use combining or replacing non renewable with renewable resources (i.e. using innovative technologies) managing project for minimizing GHG emissions, reducing the use of problematic chemicals according to regulations, environmental health hazards and changing climate needs Requirements Experience 4-7 years of managerial/leadership experience within the environmental function management/leadership corporate/public affairs 6
7 Education Required skills a bachelor degree and master/phd degree in environmental science chemical engineering health and safety environmental management chemistry and biology technical expertise for implementing environmental goals, objectives and programs leadership and teamwork skills proficiency with data and communication software highly effective written and verbal communication skills that can used with people of various backgrounds, experience and education levels communication skills and cultural sensitivity. demonstrated effective platform presentation skills and training delivery skills interpersonal skills to coordinate with hr in the development of training modules (i.e. conduct environmental presentations) 3. Position Title: Community Manager Purpose Community manager is the voice of the governmental agency externally as well as the voice of the community internally. A Community Manager is the face of the governmental agency, managing 7
8 communications in both directions. S/he is responsible for communications, public relations, social media and events among other things. Community manager leads teams and departments for the implementation of the strategy and policies regarding governmental agency s community programs, develops social responsibility based on citizens issues and community involvement and fosters partnerships between governmental agency and community. She/he liaises closely with social responsibility officers providing human resources support service to the governmental agency to achieve SR goals and implement related practices. Key Responsibilities planning overall strategy of continuous improvement for GA s initiatives leading teams and departments for the development of the strategy and policies regarding GA s community programs develop, promote and communicate social responsibility policies based on citizens issues and community involvement provide analytical and accurate information about services to the citizens using also new technologies provision of services that are safe and that do not carry unacceptable risk of harm consumption of products and resources at rates consistent with sustainable development citizens support along with handling complaints and managing conflict citizens data protection and privacy strong protection of citizen rights to essential services (i.e. electricity, gas, water) provide continuous knowledge and develop skills for assessing technology, services and information fostering partnerships between GA and community promoting culture and education create employment and develop human resources promoting public health (i.e. campaigns) 8
9 Requirements Experience Education Required skills 4-7 years of managerial/leadership experience in marketing/sales communications/public relations corporate/public affairs community relations a bachelor degree and/or a higher degree in the social sciences humanities management marketing strong leadership and teamwork skills proficiency with office automation/communication software highly effective written and verbal communication skills that can used with people of various backgrounds, experience and education levels strong diplomatic and communication skills to market the GA to the public interpersonal skills to collaborate with hr in evaluating job descriptions and performance appraisals 9
10 4. Position Title: Human Resources Assistant Purpose Human Resources (HR) assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment processes, training and development, compensation, performance appraisals, employee relations. She/he liaises closely with human resources department and other departments throughout the organization providing human resources support service to the governmental agency to achieve goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities preparing job postings, screening applications, arranging interviews, administering required tests providing general administrative support (i.e. arranging meetings, taking down minutes as needed) maintaining and controlling employees and recruitment relations records, reports and organizational charts counselling employees on policies, benefits, procedures and job opportunities developing human resources practices according to national laws, regulations and bargaining agreements promoting organizational justice and protecting employee rights interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding HR procedures and practices within the specified guidelines coordinating integrated training programs in order to support skills and competencies development maintaining and monitoring records of employee compensation systems providing assistance in monitoring employee performance appraisal process 10
