You need to either configure the notifucations to use an existing SMTP service to relay those notification s, or you can add an SMTP service to the Windows server hosting your econtrol web application server. Presumtions This KB article presumes that your econtrol web application server is hosted on a Windows 2008 server platform. From Server Manager, right-click Features and click Add Feature / 15

Configure the SMTP server Once the SMTP server is installed, it needs to be configured to relay notification emails from the econtrol host Windows server only. 1. 2.
