1 Dorothy Flannagan received her B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina, her M.A. degree from the University of Richmond, and her Ph.D. degree in Developmental Psychology from North Carolina State University. Her research interests include the areas of interpersonal communication and developmental outcomes as well as relationship expectations. She has been a member of the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio since She became Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences in 1998, and was appointed as Dean of the Graduate School in 2002.
