Measured trends in hiring for different positions and developed projections based on current patterns. Explored group differences in performance evaluations and promotions as a function of gender, age, race, and educational background.

5 5 Research Assistant Rice University Math/Science Project Summer 07 Assisted with the summer program designed to provide math at science instructors at all levels with additional pedagogical instruction, gathered evidence of learning and satisfaction from attendees, later observed teacher performance in the classroom to evaluate whether the program had been successful, presented results at the American Psychological Society Conference in Chicago, IL. Consultant Children s Museum of Houston Fall 2007 Worked with fellow graduate students to design a Situational Judgment Test for hiring and training guides in the museum, gathered critical incidents from job incumbents and created a measure of effective and ineffective performance, scores on these measures were validated against performance measures, results are being compiled into a manuscript for publication. Psychiatric Care Aide University of Colorado H. S. C. Oct May 01 Counseled juvenile offenders in a therapeutic community setting, case managed clients individually, administered medication, lead group counseling sessions and discussions, coordinated with probation officers and case workers, resolved conflicts between clients and assisted field trips into the community.
