1 Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) ONLINE PROJECT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS (YOUR PROJECT SHOULD BE UPLOADED TO THE MBA WEBSITE USING THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED A SIGNED PARTICIPATION CONTRACT ALONG WITH ANY APPLICABLE PAYMENTS TO THE MBA.) Event: 2015 MBA Parade of Homes Deadline for Online Data Submission: Monday, May 11, 2015 The above deadline must be met in order to be included in print materials and online for the above listed event. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Go to Under RESOURCES in the red menu bar, select Member Log-in/Log-out and login using your username and password. If you do not recall this information, please contact Amanda Dombrowicki (adombrowicki@mbaonline.org) or Taylor Woods (twoods@mbaonline.org). 2. At the top of the profile home window under Home Listings and then Add Home In select the appropriate event from the options listed in the drop down box (i.e. if you are submitting a project for the 2015 Parade of Homes, select 2015 MBA Parade of Homes). Click on the SUBMIT button. Please Note: You will receive a prompt asking Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? Click NO, by clicking no this will allow you to see the Google map in step 5.

2 3. Here you will find the information form to fill out for your POH model. Enter all information in the open fields, required fields are starred. The Description box is the area will you will provide the copy about two items: a) Model home that will appear in the Parade Plan Book (max of 300 words) b) People s Choice Nomination for Best Room (max of 115 words) Please do not exceed the word counts suggested above. A sample description can be ed to you if needed. Please be sure to spell check your text and DO NOT ENTER YOUR TEXT IN ALL CAPS. Please continue to step 4.

3 4. Next, scroll down the page to find an area to fill in About the Builder. In this section, you can also add information about the Architect and/or Interior Designer if you would like that print. Please follow the word count guidelines below: a) Builder Bio (max 200 words) b) Architect and/or Designer Bio (max 90 words) Please note that your builder bio word count may be increased to max of 350 if you do not plan to submit an architect or designer bio. Please be sure to spell check your text and DO NOT ENTER TEXT IN ALL CAPS.

4 5. Continue scrolling to see the map. Your map point should be where your model is, if it is not, feel free to move it on this page to a more exact location. You can also revise the text in the driving directions box. When completed with this info please remember to SAVE. 6. Scroll back to the top of the page, there is a linked tab labeled Upload Files. Click this.

5 7. Here you upload your home rendering (if you have the final approved from SHP), company logo, builder/team photo, and floor plan. Select Browse and find the files on your computer. Select the image and click Upload. You must make sure the file sizes are correct for the area you are uploading (see below). You can add as many files to a project as you would like but you MUST upload the following REQUIRED: Main Image Small Thumbnail of home on website (less than 100KB) Main Image Large Large rendering on home s info page (less than 1MB) Floor Plan PDF PDF pop up of floor plan (less than 1MB) Magazine Main Photo/Elevation High resolution image used for print (less than 10MB) OPTIONAL: Builder Picture Builder or team photo (less than 100KB) Company Logo - (less than 100KB) Once complete, click Save on the bottom of the page again.

6 8. OPTIONAL- back at the top of the page, there is a fourth linked tab labeled Professionals. Click on this section to add other member / subcontractors to your Partners in Excellence list. If you used them in the building of your Parade model, please list them here and what they did. Skip to step 12 if submitting your PIE list as directed below **. **The preferred way to deliver your PIE list is by hard copy via to adombrowicki@mbaonline.org or fax The document template can be sent to you if requested.

7 9. In the white drop down menu box, select the appropriate department/item and click Add. (I.E. Cabinets, Appliances, etc.)

8 10. A new section will now pop up with our entire member base allowing you to pick the subcontractor, supplier, exhibitor, etc. that your company used for that particular category.

9 11. Once you have filled in your Partners in Excellence, click Save again at the bottom of the page. Go back to the top of the page and to the second linked tab labeled Edit Home to review and confirm your information. 12. Please check all information on the screen (your information should still be on this page) then scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see a link for Submit Home for Approval. If everything is correct, click this and the listing will be submitted to the MBA for approval and then to be added on our website. Once the information is activated, it will be listed on the Parade of Homes pages of the MBA website immediately.
