'PSHE is an important and necessary part of all pupils' education. All schools should teach PSHE, drawing on good practice'' DfE, 2014 Ofsted and the recent All Party Education Select Committee report on PSHE have highlighted this programme as providing some of the best PSHE CPD available. PSHE is a specialist area of the curriculum dealing with complex and sensitive issues, many of which contribute significantly towards the safeguarding of children and young people. PSHE helps to effectively address the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils and embed empowering 'British' values. It assists in developing the many critical reflection and decision making skills necessary to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. The National PSHE CPD Programme has been developed by subject experts and is based upon effective practice and subject pedagogy as highlighted through DfE, OfSTED, Healthy Schools and related literature and research. This Programme's accreditation, through the University of Roehampton, is testimony to the thorough approach which places participants at its heart. Participants take part in 3 training days over the course of a school year, self-study is also required and the course is assessed through the completion of an assignment. If you would like to participate in the National PSHE CPD Programme please download our application form and return to James.Ludlow@babcockinternational.com or NationalPSHE@babcockinternational.com 15T/11705 Friday 11 November :30-16:00 Friday 27 January :30-16:00 Friday 10 March :30-16:00 Holiday Inn Express London, 275 Old Street, EC1V 9LN Holiday Inn Express London, 275 Old Street, EC1V 9LN Holiday Inn Express London, 275 Old Street, EC1V 9LN inc VAT
