SME DNC of Armenia Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center Fund (SME DNC of Armenia) was established by the decree of the Government of Armenia in SME DNC of Armenia is the first national structure in Armenia called to implement state support to small and medium entrepreneurship (SME) and programs directed to development of the sector, as well as to ensure a dialogue between small and medium enterprises, government and other structures. The Board of Trustees is the supreme governing body of the SME DNC of Armenia, the members of which represent several government structures and NGOs advocating the interests of SMEs. The Board is headed by the Minister of Economy.

New technological processes for producing the alloys of transition metals and their hydrides (Offer) Armenian Institute has developed a principally new method for producing the refractory alloys. Main advantage of this method is low energy consuming. New technology for production of dry types of confectionary and pasta (Request) Armenian company, which is engaged in production of confectionery, is looking for new technologies for production of dry types of confectionery (wafer) and pasta. The advantages of the technology should be less spending of energy and high productivity. Target partners are the producers of pasta s production lines. In cooperation with Dutch Network partner Agentschap a company mission for Armenian IT-company Eworks LLC has been organized in Amsterdam/Netherlands on December In cooperation with the Russian Agency for Small and Medium Business Support the B2B meeting have been organized in Yerevan on April 2011 between Armenian and Russian businesses from Krasnodar region of Russian Federation.

Events and Networking The SME DNC of Armenia has supported EEN Italian Partner EEN SIMPLER - Milan in R&D Partner Search for involvement of Armenian companies in research project in medical sector. A partnership has been established between Italian Kos Genetics company and Armenian company Centre of preventive cardiology- BAREKAM LLC in December In cooperation with Spanish partner CCI of Toledo the company mission of their client has been organized in Armenia who was interested in establishment of new business in Armenia. In cooperation with Italian partner Federation of the Scientific and Technical Associations we have assisted Armenian IT company to find suitable partner and eventually a Partnership Agreement has been signed with Italian company Editel on January Staff Exchange with Romanian partner CCI Constanta on IPR issues on July, 2011.

Ticket to ride for tourism web developer For more than 20 years, Italian SME Editel has been developing websites and applications for corporate clients in the northern Trentino region. Working with an Armenian partner it found through the Enterprise Europe Network, the micro-company is taking its business to the next level. Editel, based in the town of Pieve di Bono, caters to corporate clients in several sectors including tourism for which Russia is a growing target market. For help finding a business partner Editel turned to the Enterprise Europe Network, whose 3,000 experts in 50 countries offer a one-stop shop business support to SMEs. Its local branch is hosted by business and innovation agency Trentino Sviluppo. Network business adviser Francesca Azzolini added Editel s profile and request to the Network s powerful business matchmaking database. We can help even the smallest SMEs with international ambitions, she says. Many kilometers away, Network expert Ani Khandamiryan of the SME Development Center of Armenia flagged the profile to E-Works, an SME specialized in web design and multimedia for Russian, Swiss and American companies. Soon after, the companies agreed to cooperate in some projects and develop Russian-language mobile applications. Armenia is at the forefront of research, development and production of high technology, says Editel owner Pierlugi Ghizzi. Thanks to the Network, we can benefit from this know-how and expand our offer in ways we never thought possible. And for E-Works, predicts commercial director Andranik Martirosyan, this partnership will help us conquer Europe.
