3 1.Overview. 1.1 Introduction This tutorial is intended to help merchant who bought Criteo Tags & Feed Extension for Magento. It describes the installation process and configuration. WARNING: You must first subscribe to Criteo services. 1.2 Features This extension connect your Magento website with Criteo Extension configuration from the Back Office; Integrate Javascript library directly from the Criteo server; Automatic generation of Criteo Tags inside your Magento website: Homepage, Product Page, Category Page, Shopping Cart, Payment Confirmation; Javascript Asynchronous loading in order not to slow down your website loading and displaying times; Automatic feed generation for each store; Compatibility: Magento Community Edition from 1.5.x to 1.9.x 2. Installation 2.1. Create a backup of your files Before installing please backup Magento database and files. Installation on a pre production environment is recommended Installing the extension Via the Magento Connect interface (recommended) Please check first with your webmaster if this feature is configured properly. Open Magento Connect Manager and log in.

Then click the Proceed button. Above the black screen, the following line should appear:

5 Criteo tags & Feed extension installation In the "Direct package file upload" section click the Browse button to select a file on your drive and select the downloaded archive from your purchase (.tgz file) and finally click the "Upload" button. The following confirmation message should appear at the bottom of the page in the black screen. Renew the operation with the WIC_CriteoTags.tgz downloaded archive with your purchase and transfer folder content (app, skin) to your Magento root Verifying the Installation After installation as been performed: Connect to your Back Office Magento. Refresh cache, and reindex. If compilation mode is enabled, please re compile. Log out of Magento Back Office and reconnect. Go to the section System> Configuration. In the left column you should see a "Web In Color" section.

6 Click the "General" tab. If a 404 error appears, log out of Magento Back Office and reconnect again. 8 Enabled Additional Attribute Product Name s template Run Export Manually Enable or disable Criteo flow generation. An additional field is available in RSS Criteo to transmit an additional attribute such as product description, or any other attribute that can improve the description products in the displays of Criteo This allows you to set the product name passed to Criteo. If you want to add for example brand or size. This button will let you generate the XML feed manually. This could take time if you have a large catalog. For each STORE VIEW, a feed will be generated each night at 1am. You can choose not to activate all feed using STORE VIEW configuration.
