4 Beskrivning Användningsområde Continent är en traditionell persiennkonstruktion avsedd för 25, 35 eller 50 mm lameller. Persiennen kan användas med stegsnöre eller vävda band upp till 25 mm bredd för 25 mm lameller. Continent är en kraftigt dimensionerad konstruktion anpassad för frihängande eller mellanglas montage inomhus. Persiennen är avsedd för medelstora fönsterytor i lägenheter, villor, kontor, sjukhus, skolor m.m. Reglage Upp- och nedhissning sker manuellt med hjälp av polyesterlinor som kan låsas automatiskt eller manuellt. Vid automatisk låsning leds linorna genom ett fallsäkrat låshus. Linorna frigörs genom att man för dem mot centrum på persiennen, sträcker dem och därefter försiktigt släpper efter. För att låsa persiennen återför man linorna till en vertikal position. Skevning av lamellerna kontrolleras antingen med en vridstång eller med en runddragslina. Vridstången/runddragslinan fästs i en snäckväxel som vinklar den stålaxel som stegbandsrullarna sitter på. Storlekar Max bredd: 3500 mm Max höjd: 3000 mm Max area: 9.0 m 2 Ovanstående mått är rekommenderade maxmått och bör inte överskridas. Vid svåra monteringsförhållanden bör även dessa maxmått övervägas. Pakethöjder vid olika persiennhöjder (mm) med stegsnöre. Komponenter Lagerbockar och stegbandsrullar är tillverkade av högkvalitativt polymermaterial och galvaniserat stål som ger en tystgående funktion. Låshusen är tillverkade av stål och mässing och snäckväxlarna av slitstarkt, underhållsfritt polymermaterial eller galvaniserat stål. Upphängningsbeslagen är tillverkade av förzinkat stål eller lackerat stål. Profiler Listerna är tillverkade av brännlackerat, rullformat stålmaterial. Överlisten är 38 mm bred och 28 mm hög. Underlisten är antingen 25, 35 eller 50 mm bred beroende på lamellens bredd. Lameller Lamellerna är tillverkade av speciallegerat brännlackerat aluminium. Bredderna är 25, 35 och 50 mm. Textilier Stegsnören, linor och vävda band är tillverkade av 100% polyester

5 Description Range of application The Continent is a traditional venetian blind, intended for use with 25 mm (1 ), 35 mm (1 3/8 ) or 50 mm (2 ) slats. The head rail will accommodate string tape or woven tape up to 25 mm width for 25 mm slats. Continent is a strong construction, designed for inside free hanging mount or between double glazing. It adds great style to medium to large sized window in flats, bungalows, offices, hospitals, schools etc. Control Hand operated cords, which can be automatically or manually locked, control the raising and lowering functions. When the cords are automatically locked they are routed through a crash proof cord lock positioned in the head rail. Moving the cords towards the centre of the blind, stretching them and then carefully releasing the tension, release the cord lock. To lock the blind, move the cords back to a vertical position. There are two different methods to tilt the slats. One is with a cord operated tilt gear. By pulling one of the two cords of the cord tilter the torsion rod will turn. The option two is by using a tilt gear. A wand is hooked onto the tilt gear, which then turns the torsion rod. Components Tape roll supports and tape rolls are manufactured of high quality plastic material and galvanised steel, which ensures a smooth and easy function. Cord locks are manufactured of steel and brass and tilt gears of strong and maintenance free plastic and steel material. Installation brackets are made of galvanised steel or powder coated steel. Textiles Cord, string tape and woven tape are made of 100% polyester. Sizes Maximum width: 3500 mm (11 6 ) Maximum height: 3000 mm (9 10 ) Maximum area: 9.0 m 2 (97 sqft) The maximum measurements are recommended and should not be exceeded. Profiles The rails are made of roll formed stove enamelled steel. The head rail is 38 mm (1 1/2 ) wide and 28 mm (1 1/8 ) high and is suitable for double-glazing application.
