All the surplus that we generate is reinvested in pursuit of our vision, either directly back into the business, or in the community in the form of donations and sponsorships. Below are details of some recent community investment projects that HFR Solutions CIC have supported: Community First Responder Vehicles funding for four fully equipped CFR vehicles in partnership with East Midlands Ambulance Service. Manned by emergency care teams, the vehicles will respond at the request of East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) to provide emergency care for critically ill and injured patients across Lincolnshire. Fire investigation and community engagement dogs sponsorship of the training and equipment required for two fire accelerant detection dogs to operate in the Humber region, becoming two of only 17 fire accelerant detection dogs in the country. Fire station community defibrillators funding for community defibrillators to be sited at rural fire stations throughout the Humber region. Fire and emergency support vehicle funding for a new Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support (FES) vehicle operating in North and North East Lincolnshire, offering assistance to members of the community after they have been affected by fire, flooding or other emergencies. Humber Rescue life vests funding for a set of 20 new life vests for the volunteers at the independent charity that provides fast response cover to the Humber estuary and its tributaries. Grovehill Community Spirit Helping To Make People Safer Beverley based fundraiser Rene James, friends and local Grovehill businesses such as the Beverley News have raised significant funds to enable the local community to purchase a defibrillator and lockable cabinet. The defibrillator has been supplied by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Humberside Fire & Rescue Service and community investment company HFR Solutions CIC and is stored in a secure lockable cabinet. 17
