This is an absolutely necessary step in order to start the online application procedure. 1. Go to the following website in order to register. Applicants have to create an account and password to be able to use this site: Choose the exchange programme LLP/Erasmus and fill in the data: your ID card or passport and create a password. Please save the password for further entries in the website. Then click on Nuevo solicitante / Sign up.

2 2. Complete the application form submitting your personal and academic history and please upload a photo. In the end, please click on Grabar solicitud / Submit. If you have problems to minimize the photo size please read the instructions below.

3 3. The applicants data will be saved and then please choose the period of study, e.g. 1 st semester, 2 nd semester, full year or other. Then click on Guardar y Continuar (Save and Continue). 4. The data will be saved, please print the form clicking on Imprimir / Print. A new window will be opened with your form. Please, choose again Imprimir / Print. To log out please click on Salir or Exit / Cerrar Sesión.

4 When the application has been verified by the UGR, the applicants status ( Estado/State ) will be changed. Please check your status the 19 th of December If you are pre-accepted (you will receive an ), please log in and draw up a Tentative Plan of Study. When the proposal has been approved by the UGR, the applicants status ( Estado/State ) will be changed. Please check your status the 23 th January After being accepted by the UGR, you will receive a confirmation . The applicant has to bring this printed form and a copy of his/her ID card or passport to the Welcome Meeting in February. 5 Photo Sizing The following instructions are addressed to applicants who are going to study at the UGR as exchange students regarding photo sizing of their photography according to the established format and size requisites of the online application. 1. In order to size the photograph you can use the programme IrfanView which you can download at 2. Once the programme is installed you can open it using the following path: Start All Programmes IrfanView 3. Open in IrfanView the image you want to edit: File Open 4. Once the image is open you can change the size: Image Resize\Resamble a. Modify the size of the image in the section Set new size: Width: 90 Height: 110 Units: pixels b. You can have a look at the new size in the superior part called NEW SIZE. You can change the measurement regarding the value you mainly introduced in order to keep a stable proportion of Width x Height. You must verify that Width x Height in NEW SIZE will be situated between the established minimum and maximum values by application. If not you must retouch the measurement which is outside of range: 70 < Width < < Height < 221 c. Once modified the size and verified that the value of NEW SIZE is inside the established range click on OK and the image size will be changed. 5. Last, you must save the image in JPG format: File Save as, where you choose Type : JPG JPG/JPEG Format.
